Chinatown: Yukie Quest / Possible Spoiler

At the end of the Yukie quest when i fight the demon with her:
1. should i kill her / let her be killed to get the katana
2. let her live because i will find another katana which is equally good
that after finishing teh quest the katana still lies in the noodle shop and is not able to be picked up is a bug i presume?

I don't think you're supposed to be able to pick up the katana. If you want a katana, go to the herbal shop in Chinatown and talk to the shopkeeper about his background or about the Tong. You should now be able to buy weapons/armour from him

I discovered something cool by accident last time through ...if you take on the demon with melee, then Yuki might take out her crossbow, then head towards her, the demon may take her out, then you get the crossbow! That was the only time I found one in the game! My first time through I was getting nailed by them near the end thinking 'wish I had one!'.

i thought i can find a crossbow later on as well?
so Yukie's katana is nothing special? basically the same one i can buy from tseng? or does it have any increased stats?

This ain't KoTOR or BG2... all items are base items. There's only one special katana in the game, and you find that pretty late on. So yeah, if you see a katana, chances are that its just a plain-jane one you can buy.

I'd off her for no other reason than shes a hunter.
Also you can pick up a katana during the story missions in china town in the
SPOILER
Tong Bar "Glaze" when you go to kill Jonny Tiger. If you decide to start whacking Tong, I snuck up on one and Gallaghered him and he dropped a katana. Also in one game some of the Tong in Zhao's Warehouse dropped them as well.

Found the one you mention already myself.
cool item. i almost only use the katana and purge now. if you add a little possesion you are almost invincible (tremere)

if like me your using patch 34 the one's i found are..
1>from asian vampire, foxy boxes(replica)
2>killing the vampire slayer in sleeze shop (hollywood)
3>chinatown, Fu Syndicate building (nastier katana) <-- i think this is the occult blade
are there anymore collectable?

You did WHAT?!
Obviously you didn't help Ash to escape through the sewers in Hollywood... By the way, this approach grants you $500 instead of $250 for letting him change his clothes with the other guy, plus you'll definitely get one normal crossbow, as the hunters there like to use these.

What's the big deal with all those crossbows?! I don't know why are you people are so interested in this piece of shyte? It's slow, has low damage, takes milion of years to reload...

I agree completely, when it comes to ranged weapons, nothing beats the "Jamie Sue"!

If you have any of the 4.* patches you let her live because she helps you fight the Kuei-jin guards amassed around the temple.
