I am stuck freeing them,i have talked to ribald and the option to release doesnt show? i am a mage and have the sphere as part of my stronghold.

The mage that greets you after you've been given the sphere includes a dialog option that will unlock the Ribald solution via a dialog option there too. I've just completed the sphere with my mage/thief and this is what happened to him.

Hi, thanks for that.But i messed up the dialogue with the mage and now i cant get ribald to give me the option.

If you go to the Order of the Radiant Heart paladins in the temple district you can get rid of them, although i don't think there is as much XP for it

yeah, i have another question.

If i ask for help The Orden of the Radian Heart will it cost me 9000 too? Ot they can't help me with knights?

I dont believe it costs 9k.
The option for dumping them is much cheaper but you dont get much for it.

If you ask for help Ribald it will cost you 9k, trust me. I had cha 18 (Ring Of Human Influence, right) and he didn't cut down the price when i asked fot it.

If you get Ribald to do it, you have to pay the 9k gold but you also get a nice item for it. If you help them through the Radiant Heart, you don't have to pay anything but you don't get the item either. I believe either way you do get the same xp.

SPOILER (highlight if you want to know what the item is):

The item is the Golden Girdle (+3 AC against slashing, and a required component for a great belt if you're using the Item Upgrade mod).

I talked to the people before leaving the sphere...I'm pretty sure the only dialogue option i had was to let them leave and search their glory in the new world. Does this mean, i can't free them, since they freed themselves....?

I'm not a mage, but a fighter/cleric.

I haven't tried ribald, or the radiant heart, so maybe I'm impatient

Schept, don't worry, you're not missing anything. Those other options only come into play if your main character is a mage of some type (wild, sorcerer, dual, multi, specialist). They are part of the dialoog options given when the sphere becomes your stronghold.

As a fighter/cleric, you'd get similar "extra" dialog options when completing either d'arnese keep (sp?) or the cult of the eyeless, whichever you did first.

I never said to get Ribald to do it... I said to dump them at the church if you dont want to pay or get the item. I was responding to the post right before the one you are referring to...
Im not sure if you get the same xp or not I generally ignore the quest because the reward is ridiculously low.

Well if you have paid the amount remember to get the wizard to appear you have to return to the planarsphere and rest in pretty much the same room as the Solamic Knights for a night or two otherwise the mage doesn't seem to appear.

It seemed to me even though I paid the amount and was told to return to the planarsphere time after time the mage wouldn't appear until I decided to sleep in the same room and then she appeared.

As another note, the mage in question is named Zallanora or one of the highest of the cowled wizards, I suspect it's possible that if you've killed the cowled wizards it might be possible for her to not appear.
