anyone know of any weapons cheats, so i could get me a cool sword, right at the beggining

Sure, first u need to activate the console, click here for instructions on how to do it.

Then open up the console and type:

give item_w_occultblade <-- This blade is very nice

or

give item_w_sheriff_sword <-- not as good as the one above but it looks very cool and has a loong range.

Problem is, you'll be baaaaad with that sword. You're better off using a knife from a gameplay perspective, because of the way damage is calculated. Katanas are much more difficult to use than a knife, and so in the beggining, you'll be dealing a lot less damage.
