help!!

i am annoyed = nosferatu warrens level 2 - I have managed to get through the water room in the sewere, but there are no barrels to jam the mechanism - has anyone else found this problem!! please help as i cannot proceed. Have I forgotten to do something!!!

Hmm... did you try jumping on it even without the barrel to throw? I know that worked for me once... I'm really sorry its not there. Try a reload from a ways back. Maybe that will work too. First time I've heard of this, though.

or perhaps you're just not to that section yet...there are 3(I believe) "stream" sections on that specific level, and only one of them have barrels(If I remember correctly).Worse case scenario, you just use no clip to go past that part...no biggie

thanks for the advice folks - I followed the walkthrough from this site so im sure its correct, and yes i did try jumping on it without using the barrel - I became mush!!
I also tried loading up previous autosaves and trying different things in the hope that it would generate barrels ( ie reading the dead guys clipboard - well you never know! - or wandering around) but with no luck - its just too wierd!! Ive started a new game (the cut scenes can be long - but ill have to grin and bear it)

sure you don't want to just use the noclip console command? I mean, it does require a bit of effort, but it beats starting a new game, afterall(unless you just wnated to...)
