Just need some help here on where are all the pieces are at..... I have everything but a lens and I am on datoonie. this savenger there sells saber parts...and I have bought an assortment of them even a lens but I think it is a upgradedable lens not a actual lens.. this is the only piece I am missing can anyone help me out with this or point me in the right direction??? thanks

what planet did you go to first??? I went to Nar Shadda first and once I completed 3 or 4 quests I had all of the parts to make the lightsaber, I got a crystal from the ithorians on telos, then got the 3 other peices for doing quests on nar shadda, one from the husband wife quest, one from merchant quest and forgot what quest gamme the last one, if dantoine is your first planet you will get the piece eventually.

Ok, depending on how far along on Dantooine you are you may or may not be able to do these.

Part #1
Jorran, if you rescue him from the enclave he will sell you one of the parts, and two color crystals for 1000 credits. This is of course after he has returned to the salvagers.

Part #2
If you modify the dead salvagers will, part of the claim includes a part. This will get you some Dark Side Points though.

pieces of da light saber

i started out went to peraguss and then to telos and then to datoonie i haven't been anywhere else cause i wanted to finish all the missions on datoonie. i am sure sooner or later I will get the lens but i thought maybe there was certain planets that might have diffrent pieces of the saber. hopfully by the end of the night i will have found my missing piece.... thanks for the help...

I'm beginning to be suspicious that the game is designed to ensure that by the time you finish your first planet (and possibly have your fight with Visas) you'll have all the necessary parts. That's assuming that you complete everything though, such as rescuing the one scavenger (which is sort of a side quest).

no, you don't even need to rescue the dead salvager (btw. that woman who wants the dead bodies is actually scamming you, she wants to change the will) But all you have to do is just beat a jedi, i did Korriban as my first world and i just got my lightsaber piece from the dead jedi.

It has nothing to do with beating a Jedi, I didn't fight a Jedi until I already had my lightsaber for a long time. In fact, I was bothered that 99.999% of the Jedi I fought didn't have a lightsaber available on their corpse after being killed. Rather annoying, that, especially when I kept getting saber staves as my "random" lightsaber and was anxious to get a single hilt.

Here's my reasoning. I went to Dantooine first (after getting the first part from the Ithorians). I got one piece from the scavenger, one from Vrook and I forget the last one precisely. Others have reported going to Nar Shadda first and getting the pieces from the various quests there, though I got no pieces there.

Another, possibly more likely possibility, is that there are a dozen plus areas where you either get a piece, or if you already have all the pieces, you get a random lightsaber. I did get a bunch of lightsabers later on as quest rewards from odd people (such as the doctor in Iziz), so maybe those indicate all the places you can get pieces, and I would have gotten lightsabers from them on Dantooine.

If you already have your light saber, then the quest for parts will return full light sabers. If not, the first planet you visit after Telos/Peragus will have enough quests/Jedi meetings to give you the parts for a lightsaber, which Bao Dur can build. If you have your light saber built before you meet Visas, she will give you one AND keep hers.

YES got it.... I finished the last level on datoonie with the malitia and protecting the compond and I finally got the lens...
I guess they kind of make you work for it a bit in this game.... cause it seems like on the first game I got a saber pretty quick.... thanks all..

I'm having trouble getting my lightsaber made too. I'm on Dantooine (my first planet) and I have all the pieces (bought a lens off the salvage lady) However, when i got back to Bao on the Ebon Hawk, he says I'm missing a lens... WHAT GIVES???

Unfortunately the terminology is a little awkward. There's the lens you need to make the saber, and then there are the lenses you can use to upgrade your saber. Likely you have one of the latter. By the time you finish Dantooine, you should have all the parts.
