After killing the beholder for Phaere I went
out to the kuo-tao dungeon before talking to her again, and when I came back I could not talk to her in the tavern, so I tried resting a couple of times, but suddenly the alarm goes of and I am attacked!!
what have I done wrong?
plz. help

you forgot there is a time limit on the mission..the spider queen will reveal your identity to the drow if you fail bringing the blood to the drow....and its not phaere you need to talk with..go to the matron mother with the blood

there is a time limit on all the missions..if it werent the blood quest..chedk your journal for that person you need to speak with..it could also be soulafein

The problem is that I haven't received the quest for the blood yet I just did it to pass time until I should meet with Phaere in the tavern again. Is there also a time limit for receiving the quest after the beholder in the arena, I think Phaere told me I had 3 days and I haven't used that much.
It seems I'm stuck...

i can only advise you to read your journal..but if youre adventourous..you can go on a rampage through ust natha

Yeah, that rampage bit is fun, but it's best to wait until you have done all the quests and gotten Jaraxle's rope.

BTW, I saw a Ring of Jaraxle listed in Shadowkeeper, but I don't think you can actually get it. No matter what choices I make in my conversations with him I always just get sent back without the opportunity to either attack or pickpocket.

i just checked shadowkeeper, no such ring was listed

Hmm...I guess my bad...don't know where I saw it then.

Now what is cool about that series of quests is getting sleep with Phaere if you so, um, desire. If you're coutring Jaheria it makes for some really funny dialgue as you get to explain why you were in the drow's bedroom for eight hours .

I killed Jarxale I just insulted & threatened him, he went hostile along with his mage buddy - so I killed them

It may be to do with reputation/charisma (both of mine were low as an evil fighter)

Hmm...with me he just threatened to alert the drow and it seemed like I was supposed to accept that. I didn't seem to have an option to tell him that I really didn't care and that I had already massacred most of them anyway!
