Sorcerer Spells

Can anyone reccomend any good spell sets for a sorcerer?

Make sure you get stoneskin, melf's minute meteors (I swear by this spell), breach, magic missile, haste, etc. All the ones you most commonly use. I like to have invisibility, knock (if you don't have a good thief), strength, skull trap or fireball, greater malison, cloudkill, ice storm, to name a few. It really depends on how you use your mages and what other characters are in your party.
Do not choose find familiar, even if this is your main character. It's not worth it and you only need it once so use a scroll. Sorcerors can use scrolls, can't they. They just can't memorize spells from them.

Protection from magical weapons is a good investment for a sorcerer, because later in the game you have the option of getting invulnerability to weapons of +1 or less. So with PFMW, wouldn't this give complete protection from physical damage?

I beat the game with a sorcerer you definetly want the sequencers, magic missle... lower resist, and abi dhalzims... Once you get those spells you can take just about anything
