Why is it that everyone thinks that Imoen actually is your half-sister.
1) The only time Irenicus refers to your "sister" is prior to the dream sequence.
all other references are to her "friend"
2) She questions the sister thing as soon as you find out.
3) If you play a paladin, when talking to windspears daughter and she asks if you are betrothed, you have the option of answering "yes...I suppose that I am."
even if you don't have a romance going. (I also got this option playing a multi-player game with only 1 NPC, Nalia at the time.)

It is stated (more than once) that she belongs to Bhaal's offspring. Doesn't that makes it clear enough?

Does she? Why doesn't she have any "symptoms" that the protagonist does?
After all you have not been "aware" that much longer.

Half-sister: Both have Bhaal as the father (figures that the Lord of Murder is a man, or is he..?), and a humanoid mother?

There have been other threads which debated why Imoen didn't know in BGI that she was a Bhaal-spawn. But she does have dreams in BGII, and she has had her immortal soul taken, so I believe that qualifies. At one point, Irenicus states that your main character is more self-aware than Imoen.

I do not question the definition of half-sister. I am merely curious as to other opinions concerning parentage. after all, I don't think that Bhaal was the only god made mortal during the time of troubles.

Irenicus gives a good reason on why she does not have any of the "symptoms".
and Bhall did that BEFORE the times of troubles.
There are a few that have a god as a mother...The seven sisters.

Thank you guys for your input. I have a tendency to question conflicting dialogues. Any more input? Image

Bhaal also had a vision of his demise during the Time of Troubles. That's why he decided to have one major round of "fun" before he goes down. Seems that he didn't discriminate between races either.

Also, in BG 1, Gorian mentions something about taking care of your character because he loved your mother, etc. Does he have this same dialog if you are playing a dwarf or gnome?

Whats it matter anyways? I hear that incest was pretty popular in midevil days so if you want to boink her or marry her, go for it.
