Help!! I left durlags tower to pick up my ankheg armor. I was on the 2nd dungeon level and had not entered room 5 - throneroom yet. When I came back down, the door did not open. I have the three stones in the matching sparring dummies and struck the center one twice - there was the message that a door has opened nearby. The throneroom door was still shut and there was no indication any other door was open. I have only been in the gargoyle room and bedroom. Those doors were still open. Would someone with more experience guide me through this?? thank you.

You can get through the doors if you leave and return to the Tower, but it is a little tricky. You need to reset all the doors - so go through into the south-western room with all the statues and close the door to the Training Room. Make sure that the other doors are pretty much closed, then you can start again.

If this doesn't work, then set it so that the doors are all open (or meant to be open) and then try Knock spells or picking the doors open.

It does require a bit of trial-and-error, but it does work!
