Good CE items.

My character has recently acquires a few Grand Soul Gems with Golden Saints in them. I want to make some CE items, but I'm not sure what I should make. I don't normally make many items. I have a LOT of gold, so don't worry about the cost. Please include type of item I will need(i.e. exquisite shirt) and where I can find one.. NO weapons or armor please. I have lots of that stuff and don't need anything better. Thanks!

ummm, i forgot where to get the items, but i'm pretty sure i used exquisite shirt, pants, and ring. Those 3 hold all of the bound armors.

well, it didn't come of much use to me, but it didn't weigh much, and it was my backup armor, for it could never break (or atleast it never broke on me)

I find CE items that aid transportation helpful, like exquisite rings and amulets enchanted with spells such as: levitation, water walking, and water breathing.

The clothier in Tel Mora, as I recall, has a good selection of exquisite jewellry and clothing. I could be wrong though, you may need to check around.
If you want to power play there is always the option of a couple of points of restore health on an item or two... though I'd be careful with this one, it makes the game very easy.
CE dispel magic is also handy, just a couple of points will deal nicely with spells like poison.

I think I will do some levitate. I wonder what the best one I can make is.. I'm pretty fast on my own speed 78 I think, but mountains annoy me. I might do and invisibility as well for those times I don't want to be bothered with monsters. I can kill most in one hit though. Maybe water breathing, I haven't done much work underwater and it might be fun to play around in. I don't really need to extra strength, luck, health, fatigue, etc.. I want something that will make the game more fun and convenient, like the levitate. I really would like to know what the highest levitate effect I can get with that gem is.

If you enchant an item with water breathing it is a good idea to also put at least ten points of night-eye (if possible) on the same item... It is pretty murky underwater. ;)

I find levitate very handy for getting over mountains, though it is definitely a bit slow. I have been working up the acrobatics skill of my Bosmer and I'm finding that I prefer jumping over mountains instead. But, that is personal preference. Plus, levitate can be used to scope the landscape, which can make it easier when you are trying to find something.

Well high Athletics and Acrobatics work realy well together... But seriusly.. do you realy use levitate to scope landscape? Well i must say that it is realy working thing with FPS optimizer(or something like that) But without it i must say that it sound little bit silly.. well atleast it isn't helping you much.. and 100 acrobatics will do that lot better..

Ebony boots with CE levitate gets about 10-10 points. Also you can't rest while wearing them.

Go with something like cast when used 10 secs something-100 levitate on self (dwemner boots get 10-100). With a large soulgem, it should be as good as CE. maybe 20 secs would work.

This is probably available elsewhere but where can I get the eony boots, and is there anything that will allow CE? I'd love to be able to flay across the continent quickly. :D

CE bound longbow, best longbow in the game and no encumburance from it..
CE restore health and fatigue is really for your convenience since you won't need to rest to get your fatigue at max after running half way through vvardenfell...

my char has about 12 of both and he can still die, although not very easily..

I don't really need to rest ever anyway.. I have like 350 HP and my armor is in the 300s. The longbow might be good thouhg.. I can't remember what my marksman skill is.. hmm.. Is there a bound spear spell? I'm tryin to get better with a spear.

Guild guide in Balmora mages guild.

How do you get armour over 300 - mine is only about 270. Are there any items other than cuiasses with AR over 266 (daedric) CE shield i suppose could work.

Actually, I looked last night and it's the other way around. My HP is like 350, armor is around 300.. My armor skills are higher than 100 as well due to something if Tribunal.

I made a CE Ring of Levitation last night and that was pretty fun. I wish I could move faster with it though.

How many points did you get on it?

I think it was 1-15 which works fine for me. 1 point is enough in case of emergency, but if I have more time I can keep trying it until I get a decent number.

If you want, you could also use the Boots of Blinding Speed to travel fast while levitating, but remember to make a spell to counter the Blind, look up Boots of Blinding Speed if you need more info.

Yeah, I've seen the boots before. My brother in law loves them. He uses an argonian, steed sign. He has a serious need for speed. How do I counter the blind? My speed is about 80 anyway. I'm pretty fast..

''Resist magicka'' jopperman ''resist magicka''

I might have spelled that thing wrong.. but Bretins ahve about 50% resistance. and if you wear Cuirass of the Savior's Hide armor you will get 40-60% resist magicka.. depends on game version and plugins.. and sources..
