(cpoied from dsimpson's guide)

Duplicate Lightsabers... Again and Again
--------------------------------------

Another glitch with some deviously good benefits. Get another Jedi in
your party and give them a Lightsaber. Hit the workbench and upgrade their
lightsaber. Change the color crystal in the saber and press (X) to asssemble.
Now select the saber again, go to the color crystal selection again, don't
select one, just hit (X) again to assemble on the spot. You now have doubled
that lightsaber.

Now SAVE then immediately RELOAD that save. This is critically important,
as it turns it from a glitchy lightsaber (where if you remove something from
one, it removes from its double) to a full fledged, real lightsaber.

To duplicate the Exile's lightsaber, simply have your companion use the
workbench and do the trick as normal.

Extra lightsabers is neat and all, but the real purpose is to duplicate
Crystals and Lenses/Emitters/Cells. And of course, an infinite item bug leads
to extra money and components.

(two exile crystals is....OMG!!!)

I was pretty sure it only worked with Visas??? Am I mistaken???Because that's the reason that he was asking for a way to copy your crystal because the copying of lightsabers can only be done with visas unless I'm mistaken.

No your wrong, because any other jedi can't equip your lightsaber with the personal crystal in it.

Thanks for the tip! I just did it at a workstation off of the ship and I have 2 personal crystals now! It was a bit tricky getting them both in my hands though. Seems like if the sabers are exactly the same you can't equip the second one but if they're slightly different you're good to go?

when you consider all the classes has the same base attack bonus per level, the consular jedi master is litterally the best fighter...

try this...considering the lightside bonuses, put all points into dex, and watch your pc munch thru everything in their path...

here is a linky to my design for the ultimate sabre combo for a consular jedi master...

http://forums.forgottenwars.net/index.p ... opic=13481

some fine tuning and slightly different component choices to fit your style, (i've decided on using higher defensive bonus componts, to make my consular even nastier in combat for a tradeoff off less damage) and watch them do over 100 points of damage PER HIT...

Broken link.

It looks more like a broken server than a broken link. Could be that the server rebooted and MySQL wasn't set to automatically come up. The link could work again once MySQL is up on that server again.

1 personal crystal
2 barab ore ingots!!!

hmmm...i know the cheat to insert two of one crystal into a lightsabre, and another power crystal, but i am too nervous to try it out...cause the author reported some stability issues.... :(

oh yeah...as avenger and others know...

query: is it true, master userunfriendly that you know every existing cheat or hack for knights of the old empire?

Copy Lightsabers, PC Edition

Trial and error... turns out that Visas has to be the Jedi. You hold the lightsaber, have her upgrade it, click different color crystal, click assemble, click lightsaber, click upgrade, click color crystal, click assemble, save game. I've got 4 personal crystals now.

hehe.

have fun...

The cheat node can be accessed in the backrooms of the Jekk'Jekk Tar tunnels. To access the Cheat Node, you need to climb out of the pit after defeating your opponent (Mira or Hanharr). Go through the door that leads out of the pit, after defeating the Ubese, then take the left most door. There is another door straight ahead of this where the Node is. Upon entering this room, defeating the 3 Ubese, and immediately after you defeat the last Ubese, you need to move your character to the wall directly opposite of the door and keep moving towards it.If done correctly, your targeting reticule will go blue and select the wall for a split second. Hit A immediately. You are now in conversation mode with a Ubese who is beh ind the wall in the room with the Exit. You are now able to access the Cheat Node.Hope this helps
