hey...i'm kinda stuck i can't open those red doors blocked by a beam how to do that?!?!?!

help with the beam

you have to stand on the left side and push the beam to the right.

To push you don't need to press any keys/buttons, you just sort of stand against the beam and walk into it from the left side. I think the beam has handles as well. you can push against the handles (still towards the left). Let me know if you still have problems.

There is a known bug with the bar sticking. To fix make sure all the ninjas in the room are dead and try the bar as suggested by buddybird. If it will not move when your character pushes against, it do a save and then reload the save. This should fix the problem. Good Luck

If you have to just noclip through the door. My second time through that mission I had the same problem and had to do that.

well, I've tried all of the above, but it didn't work...so...how do i noclip through the door?!?!?!? sorry if this is a stupid question...

To initiate the cheat console right click on the Vampire icon that you use to run the game and click "Properties". Then you're going to put "-console" at the end of the Target line. So, for example:

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe"

would become

"C:\Program Files\Activision\Vampire - Bloodlines\vampire.exe" -console

After that, start the game and the cheat console can be brought up by using the ` key (the one to the left of 1 and when you hit shift it becomes ~ ...not to be confused with an apostrophe.) Just bring up the console once you're at the door and type "noclip" then you can walk through the door and when you're on the other side you can turn it off by typing it again. That should work.

I'm not 100% sure but I think you need to have take a crossbow from one of the chests in the room that has a bunch of sleeping guys in it. The first couple of times I played through I grabbed it and had no trouble opening it but this time I didn't and couldn't open it.

i've picked up the crossbow, and killed everyone (except those guys that respawn ) and i couldn't open the doors...thanks anyway

Its not related to the crossbow. I've never seen it before at all-- I thought the only way to get it was in a different part of the game. Thanks for letting me know.

When I do this, I can't move my character anymore, and my whole game jams... can't do anything anymore, and I have to use CTRL-ALT-DEL to shut the game of and start all over again...

any suggestions?

don't know...it happened to my brother as well, actually he just couldn't move...but then he loaded the last save, and did it again, and it worked...

no sorry to say but it doesn't work! the game jams again!

can't move can't press escape or any other key...

I figured out the solution of my problem... you know I quick save once and a while to make sure I don't have to redo large parts of a level... I also saved before jumping down in the room with the one guard downstairs and the water mill... thing is after you save/ load a game, there are some guys who always respawn... so what I did is I stayed upstairs and looked around and killed all the respawnies... then I jumped down and pushed the bar away from the double door like I don't do anything else...

and that's how you do that

yeah, it's just for you...even though i don't know you, or know where ur from or anything else for that matter, but i wrote it just for you kiss

happy you made it through that stupid door...i think that it was the most annoying thing in the game

Hate to break up you guys from your little love thing goin on but I have the same problem. Tried reloading and goin through the level again tried killin all the respawnees, tried the noclip cheat (it just freezes up the game). Any other ideas?

Ok figured out what I was doin wrong with the noclip command. You have to use the tilde to close the console otherwise the game freezes. Problem solved. Now on to the next bug.
