Help!! I just started the sith base part of Taris and I only have 1 computer spike to use. Is it possible to beat the sith base without these spikes? The walkthrough on this site says you can use "receptionist terminal" when you first enter the base to activate the elevator that you need to go through AND lower the droids shields that guard the elevator. Is there any other way to do this?? Also, is there somewhere that I can buy a ton of computer spikes?? I've done most of the quests on the planet that I know of so I've looted most of the corpes that lie around in various places. I went to Igear in the undercity to buy computer spikes, but he only had 2 for sale, which doesn't help me much. Any advice??? Or should I just restart at an earlier save before I had used so many computer spikes??? Any help is really appreciated.

If I recall correctly, the spikes only make the game easier. They never provide you with access to an area you can't otherwise access. I went through the game hardly using spikes, relying on Jedi healing and lots of firepower.

Besides Bastilla(of course) which is the best party member to use to beat the Sith base???

Please start a new thread for a different question. You'll get a lot more replies, when your thread title matches the contents. It's also something we try to follow here to make it easier for people to find answers to their questions.

You can beat the sith base with no spikes at all, it'll just mean that you can't use the computer to deactivate shieldds on the droids, or make bad guys blow up or download schematics and stuff.

Can be done, it'll just mean you get beaten up a lot more.
