Some Basic Questions

Gidday all,
I'm still finding my way around Morrowind, as you all know. I've got some basic questions to ask:
1) Luck. How to improve it, beyond the single digit at level ups? I can't see any skill associated with it... And what does it do, anyway?
2) Daedric armour - any smiths in the game sell magical armour?
3) Mark & Recall - you can only set one, right? I was thinking it was sort of like Llyod's Beacon in the Might and Magic games, where you could set five per character.
Thanks all! And please keep spoilers to a minimum.
Cheers,
TGHO

Luck, the only way to improve it is to throw one point into it whenever you level & have a point left over. Your luck affects every action you make, in a small way. it's hard to tell exactly how effective it is, but I believe it makes a lot of difference. It is an attribute well worth putting as one of your two major attributes.
There are a few smiths & enchanters that sell enchanted armor, but the best armor of all are the treasures you find hidden in tombs and lairs around Morowind. Off the top of my head I don't think you can buy daedric armor anywhere, but i'm probably wrong...
Yes, you can only set one mark & recall. That is a pisser, because Lloyd's Beacon is one of the most addictive spells in any game. You should have the option of at least having two marks & two recalls...
See, no spoilers!

It has been a very long time since I've played Morrowind - but I do seem to recall....
1) I belive you should be able to enchant it into stuff by using the Fortify Ability or something spell-line. Similar to Fortify Strenght. I can't remember when or how you get access to this, bu
3) Yes - you can only set one mark and recall, but remember the "similar" spells that takes you to the nearest garrison and the one that takes you to the nearest temple. I can't recall the names though.
This enables you to at least teleport around somewhat

1. Well high luck is good thing..
2. YES YOU CAN.. well with certain plugins but i would recomend plugin called ''MORIA'' Chalenging mod...
And.. these plugins..
Curry's Coloured Glass and Daedric by Curry Monkey
10-25-03 checked by Summit staff
ARMOR/Weapons, re-tex: readme
This is my recoloured glass and daedric mod! Quite a few new sets, A total of 21 new armour sets, and 14 new sets of weapons as follows:
:
GLASS ARMOR re-coloured
Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, White, Orange and Purple. There are 2 versions of each colour -one with only the gems of the armour re-coloured, ... the other, whole armour re-coloured
GLASS WEAPONS, re-colored
Red, Black, Blue, Yellow, White, Orange and Purple - one version of each of these colors
DAEDRIC ARMOUR & WEAPONS
White with gold trim....gold with silver trim....blue with cyan trim....purple with red trim....orange with blue trim.... red with black trim....green with gold trim
A strange dwarven machine that will re-colour your old glass and daedric armour and weapons - but. it only works on normal, unenchanted pieces of armour, and won't work on already re-coloured armour or weapons. See readme for info.
and
Curry's Coloured Ebony & Dwemer by Curry Monkey

armor & weapons retex;readme
--->requires: my glass & daedric mod (available below) for this one to work properly
13 new sets of armour and weapons as follows:
ebony sets...armour and weapons
blue...cyan...gold...green...red... white.
dwemer sets...armour and weapons
black...blue...green...gold...pink/purplish...red and white/silver
see readme for info.
Becuse that black/red daedric might not fit for noble paladin..
You can find these plugins in SUMMIT..
3. There is pluging wich will allow you to have about 8 different locations.. but i dont know how that plugin is called or where to find it..

There is a plugin (imho one of the most useful ever created) called "Multimark". It lets you mark and recall to up to 12 different places (although you can only add one place from a mod). It makes travelling in Vvardenfell a whole lot easier without cheating the game (you still have to get somewhere to place a Mark spell before you can recall to it). You can find it at

But there is down side on that plugin.. You need to have set of certain armor to get new colors on it.. so that moria plugin could provide easy set of daedric.. but remember final boss wont be easy..
Gold with Silver looks better.. but that is just me.. Also you should try braddocks paladin armor.. It could be hard to find.. now becuse Euro RPG wont work..

Yes that is link.. but you cant download it from there.. you can just see how paladinic that armor is..

I recommend the
Knights of Tamriel series, if you like classy armor, and ethically "good" quests. The designer has finished seven to date, with two more to go. As you can see from his website, there are some genuinely attractive full armor suits in there. And the quests can be quite challenging.

The link doesn't work fable....

by Greg.
SPOILERS (I guess):
1) CE fortify luck - luck affects everything you do in the game - lockpicking to spells to combat - so it is pretty useful.
2) CE bound on whatever daedric items you want - will not give you greaves or pauldrons - but you can steal some greaves from somewhere.
3)If you plave mark in a good place you will not need vey many - I place mine in mages guild in Vivec, as I can get transport to places all over Morrowind.
If you need any help private message me

Thanks everyone! Those armour mods look incredibly good. I will definitely grab them. I think Zar will look über-cool in some of the white and gold armour. Oh yes, it must be mine.
I've maxxed her STR and PER, so now I'll have a spare point or two every level up. I'll start placing the extra in LUC I think, especially if it has such a wide effect. Her starting luck is only 40, so it will be a while before I see any real progress there.
@GregtheSleeper
Zarustha does *not* steal! She's a Knight and trying to be paladinic. (Thanks for the other info though.)

For luck, enchant an item that CE's fortify luck, works like a charm.
I just wandered the world for the armour. Took a while, don't try this.
The 3rd one was covered about 20 times.
Thats pretty much it!

Those Tamriel armors are all part of individual quests, of unequal difficulty. I wouldn't say any of them are actually easy, and some of them are pretty difficult. If you have questions about them, don't hesitate to ask--but I'd suggest saving before entering any of the new buildings or quests they create.

No worries mate. I'm always careful.

But I very much want some of that white and gold armour that Moltovir posted the screen shot of. From the Knights mods, Zar really wants the Knights of Stendarr armour. She likes it a lot.

I'll tell you how i got the daedric greaves, I open these two doors in the basement or wherever and these guys attacked me and so dren and the other guy came down and I just went and came back hours later and they were still there so I could just take the greaves.

Huh

Maybe there's a key or something? And I know there is a piece of paper saying that the Duke's brother is plotting to overthrow the Duke, so maybe Zarutha is just picking locks for this one ocassion, coz' she's concerned about the welfare of Vaardenfall. Then again it might just be a hlaalu quest, I wouldn't know because I'm with the Telvanni
