A question for those of you who have played as a female character.

As a male character, after sparring with the Handmadien on the Ebon Hawk the first time, you can talk to her about seeing and prediction moves in battle, which ultimately leads to gaining a new feat Battle Precognition. This feat allows your Wisdom modifier to be added to your characters defense bonus. For every character I have played with already this has been a huge addition, even for my Guardian/Weapons Master, as it has often increased my final defense bonus up to 55 and even 60 with just robes on (note that it acts just like dexterity in that the bonus is not granted with armor equiped).

My question, since the feat is gained from the Handmadien, and female characters never have the Handmadien join their party, do female characters ever obtain the feat?

I don't know for sure, but probably Disciple teachs them since he is the replacement for Handmaiden. Just a thought?

That IS a good question. In fact, I'm so curious now, that I'm going to have to turn right around and start a female character, just to find out.

55-60 Defence? Oh gosh that means that I'm amateur. Without any Force Power?! Ok I'll just hide somewhere.No more shame I've got only 30 with Force Powers.Ok don't say anything I get that. 60? EEEE.

If you get your character all the way up to level 50 (using one of the two infinite XP glitches discussed in other threads), it is not that difficult to obtain a defense that high. My Consular/Master was able to do it even with the weakness of "Lesser" Prestige Sense, because of Battle Precognition and a 20 Wisdom modifier.

How I did it:
WIS modifier - +20 (Thanks to Battle Precognition, WIS is added)
DEX modifier - +9
Ossus Keeper Robes - +1
2 blades with Expert Deflection Emmiters - +2
Level 30 Consular - +12
Level 20 Jedi Master - +6
Defense Base - +10

Total Defense - 60

Since I enjoy playing the Consular/Master line so much, and I wanted play the female story line, it is obvious that I am dependent on Battle Precognition. So to anyone who has played a female character, let me know if you get this feat so i can plan my game accordingly. Thank you.
