How do I beat the empathic manifestation
in the temple with al these diseased ppl ?

Look at what it's saying. "you cannot deffeat me. I feed on pain." Thus you have to cast a healing spell on it. The "reverse" of pain...

if you dont have healing spells to 'kill it' there are healing scrolls in the back of the room.

well i tryed that but i prolly got hit while casting it :/

The first time you enter you can't defeat it yet. I cast three of my major healings on him, but he wouldn't buckle.

I stepped out again, and talked to the little girl near the entrance. She told me a little about the creature, and when I entered again, I was able to dispatch it.

I guess the first time I tried this, I didn't know how to defeat it so I talked to the people before I got the idea. But now that I knew with this time, I tried it right away, but that didn't work. You have to talk after the encounter again, before you trigger the option to REALLY defeat it.

My 2nd time through the game I just walked in, cast the healing on it and it died. I don't think you need to talk to the people first.

My 3rd time through I didn't have any healing spells availabel so I ran past it, grabbed the scroll from the altar, and used that on it.
