Thats a clip from a tv show, Reno 911. Wonderful episode, I saw it at a party, it was playing in the background and I caught the last half of it and I ended up falling over laughing onto the couch near me. The guy with the Boots of Escape is a great comedian.

I must thank you Rob-hin, I've been just dying to see the beginning of that little skit and I do my best to avoid getting stuck in front of a television so you provided me with that.
If you all like that, you might want to see if you can get that show where you are. It's a parody on Cops, I have no clue if the show is known outside the U.S., but essentially: Moron police force tackles crime in Reno Nevada. Some of the skits are just hilarious.

So it's a comedy show, and not real?? Damnit, that ruins it. The number of times I've wanted to shoot LARPers myself.
My wife (a Yank) was suspicious, as she was saying that a cop would chase the guy down rather than shoot him, as the situation didn't warrant drawing a firearm, and the cop would be up on charges.

I love Reno911! One of the most popular downloads right now is a field sobriety test where the female cop has the suspect doing dance moves like he's in a burlesque.. It's great. It might be available on DVD, not sure..
