Attack on Mournhold

Post by Eternal-Element »

hello,
Im playing tribunal and have come to the place (after the attack of mechanical things) where you have to blow up some rocks down is some old ancient dwemer ruins. But the problem is, that when i place the satchel charges, it counts down, but doesn't blow up, how come ? Cause of this i cant get any further in the game, so i would appreciate any help.

if you talking about the place on the court yard with the water foutain it suppose to blow up by it self when you killed the creatures and report back to almalexia.

Uhh, he's talking about when you're in the ruins underneath the fountain (I think it's called Bamz-Aschamez, or something similar) when you have to blow up rock piles using dwemer satchel packs.

If the satchels don't work, it's probably a glitch in the game. If you're on PC, my idea would be to leave, come back, and enter the console command for more satchels. If that doesn't work, I'm affraid you may be outta luck.

There may be a way with the console to remove the rock that is in the way. I'm not sure though.

Do you know this console command Jopperm ? I would really appreciate it, cause last time i played tribunal one year ago or something... it did exactly the same thing, and i cant tell you how annoying it is, when the whole scene is just getting exciting. :(

IIRC tcl or smth similar is the code to make you able to walk through everything so that will do the trick, but remember to type it again to disable it afterwards..

I downloaded the official bloodmoon patch 1.6 or something... and the satchel charges now go off - thx for the help anyway

oh.. i have another question, since im now past the satchel charge place, i have come to some daedric ruins deeper inside bamz-amschend - i killed what seemed to be some kinda dremora lord, not just the usual ones, but a boss of some kind. I trapped his soul in Azura's star, and he is worth something like 150000.
But my problem is that i dont know where to go now - I also came past some strange sort of device located in the dwemer part of bamz-amschend. It's a huge chamber with water in the bottom and this device hanging right over it. There are 3 handles, but they cant be activated before i turn on the power or something. Do anybody know where i do that ?

You should have recieved a dwemer artifact from your 'employer' to first activate the machine. After you toggle the power switch then the levers should work. :)

The Deadric ruins are for a later quest, by the way. ;)

Well, the dremora boss-man whom you killed should have been carrying somethin' called "Pyroil Tar" which, apparently, is used in the creation of naturally flaming weapons. Take it to Radac, who should (obviously) be in Radac's forge, and he'll make Trueflame all flamey for ya. After that, go back to Almalexia for more quests.

As for the levers, they're involved later in the story, and are a key part of (Highlight to read) A dwarven weather control machine for the city, which will later be usefull. However, they don't come into play for a while, so forget you saw them.

hmm... when am i supposed to get that dwemer artifact ? Im still running around in those damn dwemer ruins and havent been on the surface since i went down there. Should i go and report back to my 'employer' (who is Almalexia btw) now ?

-EDIT: I have now retrieved this dwemer coherer and am on my way to the so called 'Weather Witch' :)

Excuse me for asking another stupid question (the problems seem to love me lol), but it's that i have 101 in strength but everytime i raise another level i cant spend a point on just exactly that attribute. It has happened for quite some levels now. The last 3-5 times i raised a level i havent got any bonus to strength, i mean it hasn't showed anything like 2x or 3x or anything, could this be why i cant spend points on strength ?

ok thx for letting me know
And now another question, i have gotten a quest from almalexia where i have to find some broken pieces of some fire blade or something, i think i have to have 3 in total, but i only have 2, the one she gave me, and another one which Helseths 'champion' Kaddar gave me, but where is the third ?

-EDIT: i have gotten past the blade forging part, and i have now been sent to clockwork city to destroy Sotha Sil, but i am at some kinda factory that produces these strange mechanical 'raptors' ot whatever they look like, but i cant figure out how to slip through this place, do anyone know ?

*SPOILER*
On the right side of the production machine there are 2 switches that open the front and back doors of the machine. All you gotta do is activate the right one, and wait until the machine makes more fabricants. Once it does this, the front door will open, thus letting you through.
