No Handmaiden if Female Jedi? Who do you get?

If you are a chick and you don't get the Hanmaiden do you get another character later on?

Though I don't necessarily think you need to get the opposite sex, maybe just different dialog options.

Your character's gender is the only factor that affects which character you get.

Yeah. I should have been clearer. In TSL, only your gender matters but KOTOR III, if there is one, perhaps it would be better to get the same person with different dialog options.
