Crime is being reported

I am on the Telvanni Hortator part of the main quest and I am at Mistress Therana, I looked it up in the walkthrough and it says I can kill her, but when I do it reports my crime and gives me a bounty, why?

yea i know i murdered her, but i killed many of other people without it doing that and in the walkthrough if it says your allowed to kill them then thats the crime won't be reported cuz i've done like a bunch of times

You shouldn't use the walkthrough, anyway why do you have to kill Therana? I am Grandmaster or whatever of Telvanni, Aryon told me to kill whats-his-name-former-grandmaster and I did. I became Grandmaster, and I didn't use the walkthrough.

So? you got like 1040 septim bounty? Did you get expelled from Telvanni? Why dont you use taunt?

You should just do the telvanni quest with the new clothes and when she say 'put them on yourself' put them on. She will attack you and you can kill her I think (maybe it has influence on the quest). I also think you can get a daedric cuirass and greaves from her with 50pts constant effect feather each(from the Auriel's bow quest)
