Aegis - The Fishslapper, a lower God who has the favour of Fable in his mission to avoid evil spam and flaming. Former lord of Spam, responsible for the Counting incident of SYM. Often known to give out 'sagely' advice. Has an affinity to Togas. Is known for sleeping with fishes.
AC - abb. Aqua-Chan
ACE - abb. Anonymus Clementine Eaters, see clementine cult.
Aqua-Chan - A member of GB who regularly posts in Fan-Fiction
ARcheR_S_ - Former account for Sytze before an unfortunate series of events.

B
Bassie - Also known as Banned Bassie. The first member to invoke the firey wrath of Buck. Often heard utter the phrase 'Before you ban me again..."
BG - abb. Baldurs Gate
Black Talon - A Merc army, lead by Demo, and used by Heathens.
Bloodstalker - 1. The master of Lurkers, who owns some of the best spam lines around, and who have taught CM how to behave around the Dark Flames Girls. 2. a man with a very wrong type of relationship with a male bear called Buzzy. 3.He can only offer that what passes for a fitting relationship with such animals in fas mind can only be described as illegal in all states save the possibility of West Virginia and perhaps Montana.
Brynn - The most harassed female SYMier ever. Everyone loves her, of course, and she is a glorious member of the Heathens.
BS - abb. Bloodstalker
Buck Satan - Owner of the GameBanshee Forum
Buzzy - the most unfortunate bear to ever walk the face of the earth.

C
C - abb. C_Elegans
Capybara - The world's largest rodent these days, can weigh approximately 200lbs and usually habits the South-America. Trained and used as an army by LD long time ago but have been since then released to the wild.
CE - abb. C_Elegans
C_Elegans - A very smart person who is always out-debating ik (hey, I'm an honest guy, sometimes). Also a member of GB, Diablo forum moderator, and Sage of psychology, biology, and human passion.
Chan - abb. Chanak
Chanak - Long-time member of GameBanshee. Famous for DF character Thalimon and "Hill of the Skull" story.

Citadel - a majestic fortress of the Heathens, a place of peace and tranquility, warded by magic in order to make sure that noone disturbs the holy dri..*ahem* rituals and slee...*ahem* meditation.
Clementine Cult - 1. A poor imitation of the Heathens, I am sad to report. A bad copy of an imitation in their own way, they are not taken seriously and are only good for comic relief. 2. A gathering of fellow citrus lovers, dedicated to the eating of clementines and the praising of Lady Clementine, they are not in any way copies of the heathens (but they are close allies) as they came from a spam thread about boredom, which quickly turned into a thread about clementines.
CM - Also known as Fas, the Hafner, an adventurer from the Dark Flames, wielder of the Haftershave, and teddybear of SYM. Well known to be socially deficiant when it comes to engaging in questionable acts with livestock.
Comics - This is a forum dedicated to Comics
COMM - 1. A group of fine individuals the first of which were hand picked by the High COMMander Weasel to spread light and truth within the dark chaos of SPAM that was abound at the time. As time progressed the High COMMander left them promising a glorious return in their hour of need. They are currently a rag-tag group of scoundrels with some of the newest members not even remembering the Olden Days of Glory. 2. An extinct faction on SYM, that some gentleman tend to call upon when ancient spam is missed. 3. Community Of Mutant Mentals, a group of incureable spammers and evil.

D
Dark Flames - A history tread, the first fan fiction written in Gamebanshee, filled with adventure, that is very remarkable in these days because of some of the titles it has given. Example: CM, the Huggable; DW, Scayde, Yshania, The Twisted Sisters, T'Lainya.
DCI - abb. Dungeon Crawl Inc.
Demo - abb. Demortis
Demortis - A Mercenary working for the Heathens, he is a werewolf. He is the leader of Black Talon. (see Black Talon)
DF's - abb. Dark Flames
Dungeon Crawl Inc. - A hilarious webcomic made by the board member Kayless, which is based in the Forgotten Realms and features enough humor to make you split your lungs! Like the slogan says, 'It's the most fun you can have without 3 midgets and a whip!'
DW - abb. dragon wench

E
Ed - A great white shark who lives in a lake near the Heathen Citadel. He is owned by Werebeargoddess. Not very many people know about him.
Egervari - Highly respected by all IWD II fans, famous for his very detailed Guide that benetifs many.
Eggy - abb. Wrath-Of-Egg. Eggy was dubbed this by TGH.

F
fable - The only greater God in SYM, that will soon reach the record postcount of 20000 posts without a single useless spam post ever. He is famous for Chicken Tandoori, and for his neverending source of wisdom.
Fish - See "Aegis", "slapping"

G
Galuf the Dwarf - Curator of sincerity at GameBanshee, crafter of Dungeon Crawl Inc. character stats, and moderator of The Temple of Elemental Evil. His Favorite color is DarkGreen.
Gamebanshee Forums- The Gamebanshee Forums was once a place that was used to talk about games, there is now a new section of forums called Other Stuff, which is used to talk about things like Technical Support, Comics, SYM etc.
GB - abb. GameBanshee
Goody - The thread that broke the board. The vile cause of the banishment of SYMians. Created by Mr. Sleep (See also: Legal Sleep), this thread result in both the creation of SYM, as well as the massive breaking of the board with automatic e-mail's upon responding to the thread.
Guns'N'Cookies - The SYM band, involving Weasel, Waverly, Ubik, Gruntboy and Aegis. Resulted in spam and a purple pill induced shenanigan.

H
Heathen - 1. A poor imitation of COMM, they started at a low point and have gone downhill ever since their initiation in 2004. Do not trust any who defines themselves as heathen. 2. A proud group of members who are constantly bored by COMM, and live in peace with all other members, consuming tequila and living inside a castle on a pocket plane, called the Heathen Citadel.

I
Ideal Maxima - Almighty 'Halo 2' player and avid SYM poster. A General in the COMM army. His race is Dark Elf and he is an expert on the battle field especially with both human and alien fire arms (SMG, Magnum, Covenant Energy Sword, etc.). With over 1000 posts, he is semi-dedicated to SYM and Game Banshee.
IIRC - abb. If I Remember Correctly: used when a person is too lazy/in a hurry/whatever to type the whole thingymajicky and it's much easier to write.
ik- ik is short for ik911, ik is a member of the gamebanshee forums and is famous for spamming Fable's threads.
IM - abb. Ideal Maxima
IMO - abb. In My Opinion: used when expressing one's personal opinion on a matter wishing to devoid the possibility that someone mistaken's the comment as a "this is the truth/right thing" kind of speech.
IMHO - abb. In My Humble Opinion: look IMO with the exception that the writer of this wishes to say that he really does not mean to insult anyone with his comment and only wishes to express his/her/human/CM opinion.

TGH - abb. The Great Hairy
The Great Hairy- A respected and valued member of GB, his posts about his character's developement are very interesting, no one else but him thought of it.
This Or That - This is a thread that is mainly used for boosting one's posts, similiar to Word Association. Described by the maker as this "I thought it was time for a new game. It's called "This or That". I'll post two words, and you choose one of them and then you post two news. Got it...??"

Tower_Master - A member of the Gamebanshee Forums who regularly posts in the Word Association and This Or That threads.
Tsa - short for Tsalny'saia.
Tsa'lynisha - the Heathens' pet dragon & heat provider, living in the Citadel. Her name is way to long to pronounce let alone write it down correctly twice, so everybody calls her Tsa.

werebeargoddess - Patron goddess of the werebears, but is still considered a demi-goddess on Gamebanshee. Hangs out in the Heathen Citadel, as well as the Fan Fiction forum. She owns a great white shark named Ed. She and her Wearbear kin have a never ending battle with Werewolves.
Wild Turkey - Favored drink of Bloodstalker.
Word ascosiation - Word Association is a thread that is mainly used for boosting one's posts, similiar to This Or That in that regard. Described as this: "This is a word asociation game. I'll start with a word, then the next one posts the word they first thought of, and so on."

Yeltsu - Formerly known as Asriel, famous shapeshifter of SYM. Lives in Norway, therefore he gets to meet Santa every year. On his bad days, he believes he's Santa himself. He is also an ACE and good friend of Heathen. He has the wardstone to enter the Citadel just like a member of Heathen has.

Zarustha - Famous argonian knight and adventurer whose adventuries we can read in Morrowind forum. Real incarnation of goodness and virtue. Or something like that.

Now I only need to ask: do we really need a dictionary of terms either blatantly obvious (Word Association is the same pinnacle of uselessness in every single forum, and even if the newcomer is new to the whole internet thing, I'm sure he'll quickly understand the not-that-difficult concept of Word Association once he sees the thread. And it's pretty hard to miss being on page one 99% of the time) or mostly uninteresting and momentary memes (if you simply must define clementines, at least be less vague about it) who will surely be irrelevant given a few more weeks?

Some members of the Heathens might also be member of the Clementine Cult, though reports vary and no one ever cared to find the truth behind those wish-wash organizations.
