i had a thrash with this and got a cat (hooray!) but i cannot for the life of me get edwin a familiar which sux
has anyone got any idea's of the sorts of familiars based on alignment u get ?

Only the main character (i.e./ you) can get a familiar. NPCs can't.

Do a forum search for "familiars" and you'll come up with several posts which detail which alignment gets what creature.
