Alright, I am looking at acquiring a new phone.
as most of you probably know, one company will make a phone and then several companies will sell it with slight variations under different names.
The particular phone I want is the HTC Blue Angel and it is available with all the major companies here in the states. however, a company in England, O2, has a better version than the ones available here. Since it is essentially the same phone, is it possible to buy the O2 phone and have it activated on one of the companies here in the US?

Damn talk about a blast from the past! Firstly the US uses tri-band. And the rest of the world Dual Band. Different frequencies and stuff. See if the model you want is also tri-band. If it is i shoudl see no problem.

Phones in Europe are not locked. They are sim locked as in the sim works with that phone or whatever. you can use the phone and change the sim whenever you want.

What you can do is get a contract say i already have a pre-existing phone can you guys gimme a sim only?

well, work has pretty much consumed my life the past couple years.
as for marriage...nope, didn't happen. the girl suffers from borderline personality disorder and it was just too much for our relationship to withstand. we are still great friends, so we seperated amicably (spelling?).

I recently suffered a fractured eye socket and a damaged nerve in my face...long story.

I have a job interview for a position in Washington DC, so I am hopeful for that.

that about sums my past couple years...pretty sad that it can be summed up in so few words.

Well i am really sorry to hear that man. Inshallah you will get that job. Btw it is not sad. After all those on paper may seem like things that happen quickly but i bet they took months to sort out and deal with etc. But hey this year can be better and hopefully you can spend more time on SYM. We need more of the oldies around.
