Trebonius Artorius (spoilers)

ok i have my mage who is now the arch-mage and i killed Trebonius and saw he has a VERY nice amulet, called the Necromancer's Amulet.
i was wondering, if i assassinate him with another char to get the amulet early will it mess up my game???

It won't mess you up too much. One, I don't thimk you'll be able to become the archmage of the guild. And two, I THINK he might be necessary for the Telvanni spy quest, but I'm not entirely sure of that. Other than that, I don't believe that he is a part of any other quests. So basically, if you aren't going to be an active member of the Mage's Guild, i.e., actually DO the quests and advance in the guild, go ahead and kill him.

Yes it will mess up game...(mages quild psy quest)
Unless you have those documents someway..
