I call uponeth those newbies who hath suffered long under the disapproving gaze of such intimidating figures as Fas, BS, and Kid. We must uniteth, drawing uponeth our combined newbiness to protect ourselves from their unrelenting flaming! (Or, at least, huddle together in misery as they lobbeth flame balls at us). So cometh, my newbilicious comrades! Since they hath deigned to designate us, we shalleth ralleyeth! As such, no member of Newbs United shall:
1. not have over 3000 posts and/or have been here for more than a year.
2. understand jokes regarding puffians, purple pills and killing kittens
3. hath accepted and understood the standard of jokes and the lore of SYM.
4) not thinkest it witty to have a signature that is longer than 95% of your posts
5) hath createth more than 20 threads
6) not thinkest that thou art smarter than fable
7) know what the heck Newbs United is about

If thou art discoveredeth of having possession of qualities not befitting a newb, thou shalt be declared a ... err ... umm ... a NON NEWB! And thou shalt be peppered with beanbags filled with Nerds (the candy) and jellybeans and shalt furthermore no longer be welcome in Newbs United!

[edit]: in addition, members of our glorious alliance shall henceforth useth this translator for any important messages they haveth, for we must soundeth like newbs if we are to maintain our noobness! (Seriously, guys, whether you're a newb or not, you've got to try it out. It's funny as hell).

There seems to have been some misunderstanding of my intent. I do not persecute noobs. I persecute everyone equally. The apparent Newbie Wars simply give me a golden opportunity.



And for the record, I don't recall flaming anyone. There are those here who are much more advanced in that art than I ever was

I know you are making fun and all that. But please don't post in caps, and remember that the forum rules regarding swearing etc also includes abbriviations

You don't know what it's like in that forum. You won't get anywhere with nice words and warnings, you know.... Frigthening. Users flaming and cursing each other, backstabbing the weak and jumping at the stronger... Like wild animals. One has to be firm and determined to keep order.

two pages of posts and not a single noob, eh? That's just like them, to disappear just when you need em most. You guys really should try out the translator though; it's serious good times. Turn the most serious sentence into a semi-literate semi-coherent babbling of a 12 year old AOLer (or possibly a CounterStrike wannabe).

Well, I'm lost on my status. By the rules on CM's thread I am, but he discounted it as saying I'm not one on another post. Regardless, I had my fun with your link there earlier. I don't like that it shifts everything into caps, but then again it DOES fit the stereotype.

Now, chances are the newbies are all hiding, figuring once coming here they'll be marking themselves out as a target. This could explain the strange occurance of CM and BS showing up as the first to post on it too...
