Zarustha and the Ascended Sleeper

Gidday all,

In the spirit of following up the quests and finishing off stuff, Zar recently was ordered by Caius to check out a suspected Sixth House temple. Very well, thought Zar, although I think I need to prepare a bit. So she gathered up many potions of Cure Blight and Cure Common Disease, as well as scrolls of Cure Blight within 10' and various other minor magical items and artifacts.

Since her Glass Axe has Soul Trap as a special ability, Zar now carries around a stack of Soul Gems, ranging in all sizes. This means she usually has a couple of filled Soul Gems on her at any one time.

Anyway, she wanted over to Fort Moonmoth, spoke with the Champion, and was directed to the appropriate cave (Carcass of the Saint). Now this was rather nerve-racking, as since she is level 27, she was fighting Ash Ghouls, Dermora Lords, Ascended Sleepers and so on. So the Carcass caverns were quite difficult to get through! Although with the twenty dozen potions she has, not so much... Just to mention - she now has a couple of Greater Soul Gems with Ascended Sleeper souls (not that I have any idea what to do with them as yet!). :p

After confronting Dagoth Whats-his-name, she lopped his head off. And was cursed with Corpus. :( :eek: Staggering back to Balmora, she managed to make it to Cauis' place without passing out. He directed her to Tel Fyr. Zar doesn't remember much of the journey, it's a bit of a blur. However she made it to Tel Fyr relatively intact, and there spoke with the Telvanni Lord who runs the Corpusarium.

Gaining entry to the Corpusarium, she staggered about, looking for Yargus, hoping to find him before she lost too much of her mind. Looking at the other inmates was extremely upsetting, to say the least! Zar eventually found Yargus, and obtained the boots (unfortunately her Security is waaaay to low to open any of the Dwemer chests :( ). He told her some interesting things about the Dwemer, and how they disappeared.

Returning to the Lord Fyr, she gave him the boots, and drank the potion. Yay, cured! Well, yay, sort of cured. Not cured? Oh, cured of the bad stuff, still have the "good" stuff. That will have to do, she says!

So, besides completing that quest, Zar has also completed the Pilgrimage to the Seven Graces for the Temple, and so can now do Temple Quests. :) She's done two - the first two in Vivic. She's also done several House Reordan quests around Ald Vethoti (killed Blue Fin, killed a diseased Shalk in an egg mine). She also helped a pilgrim whose wife had been kidnapped by Cultists and taken to the shrine near Ald Vethoti. Oh, and she killed a Golden Saint (got that soul, too! :cool: ).

Currently she is in Balmora, carrying an absolute ton of weapons and armour (the guys in the shrine had a ton of Ebony stuff). She's hoping to sell it for a little bit of profit somewhere. Might have to go and find Creeper again (she's met him once, but has only traded with him once as well). Oh, oh! She has also just got her Reordan Stronghold started! :D That I can NOT wait for. :dances with glee!!:

Cheers all,
TGHO

Originally I did, but after some discussion here, I decided that House Hlaalu did not suit Zar, since she is rather Paladinic, and Hlaalu is rather um materialistic.

So I used the console commands to get kicked out of Hlaalu and join Reordan. I'm avoiding the Hlaalu quests and people.

I would say that none of the strongholds are really 'bad', since they all are pretty dang cool, but Tel Uvirith is still my favorite
*kind of off-topic* I've never seen Zar; what's she look like? Is she pretty?

She's a lizard, man. You like your girls with scales? :D

I am using Better Heads for Argonians, so she has a dual row of horns, several of which have rings through them, and a smooth, unfrilled head.

TGHO[/QUOTE]I might be wrong, but I think Alien means his character would think Zar is, because Alien's character is a male Argonian :p

That will lead me thinking about that TGH and Alien would have some sort of romance going on... :p :D :rolleyes: (in Morrowind)

Now that's what roleplaying is all about. :D
But back to the matter at hand; yes my character is indeed argonian, so I kinda posed that question from his point of view ;)

You seem to be doing well for yourself, outlander. :D

Sorry, couldn't resist. If you have a bunch of grand soul gems with sleepers and saints you should do some enchanting at the mage's guild.. I wouldn't try it yourself though.. joppemr2

@RebelousDarkElf
Zar's character info is in the "Character Info" thread - although it is a little out of date at the moment.

@Jopperm
I made my Extravagant Pants +6 STR (constant effect) recently. I'll be doing the same to my shirt shortly! CE is fun. :)

STRENGTH? Small tip.. make LUCK items.. but that is just my own personal preference.

Why LUC items, Eggy? What makes LUC more important than other stats?

It is because it improves all of your stats, in a small way ;)

Just to be little bit more specific it affects everything that you do. You use weapons, cast magic talk with people it affects.

Well Zar just made her Extravagent Shirt +6 SPE, so she'll make her robes add to LUC - when I've got some more money saved up!

A new thread will go up later today or tomorrow everyone! :)

@Alien_Newborn
Currently Zar is dedicated to serving the Empire, and finding out more about this Nevarine stuff. So any romance will have to wait - duty is her priority! :)

As far as i know that Zar is something like paladin. So I woulnd't wate her next to oven. Paladins just tend to die before they hit age of 30.

Not this Paladin. She's too tough for that. :p
