Has anyone successfully executed the dual class loophole at the very beginning of TOB? It's explained but it hasn't worked for me. I;ve tried several times. Is there some special trick to it???

I believe what he's talking about is that when if you play a char in SOA and import them into TOB they will be at whatever level they were at but will suddenly have 2500000 exp...you could then dual then right away and your new class could surpase the old one immediately. This obviously only works if you import a char from SOA.

What if you already had more than 2.5 mil XP? What with the cap being 2.95 and all...

Er...this only works obviously if your char is still like level 10 - 13 in SOA when you import them into TOB...not when they are like 14 or higher then you would obviously not be able to surpase the the inactive class untill you level some more in TOB

Glory, this is totally off the subject, but I remember back in the day when we talked about soloing monks and sorcerers back when you were Genesis! I have changed my name a couple of times for the same reason!

It is in the Hint Book you can buy at the store. Here is how I understood it to work:

1) Create a new TOB character by starting a new game
2) Immediately pause the game at the beginning and dual class the character
3) Export the character
4) Start a new game, but import this newly dual classed character
5) the game will start with both classes at 2.5Mil XP - The catch still being that you have to go one level above the first class before you can use the abilities of both classes.

It's in the hint book at the beginning of the walkthrough
