It seems to me you enjoy your newfound virus. Why get rid of it? Keep it as a pet!
edit: or alternatively run a virus scanning software. I have a strong suspicion they are designed with the sole purpose of removing viruses.

Dito!
Stoned, try going to one anti virus page, searching it. Many viruses have tools for removal, and this may help you to avoid flooding everyone mailbox with troyan horses or something. And also, it will avoid you the time loss of feeding your so called pet. And please, buy and anti virus, or download a freeware one. I use one that is very reliable, AVGuard, but there are many. Also, try using a good firewall, there are plenty of good ones that are freeware too.

This thread is a
lie. The page that he posted - both of them - do not exist. The virus he stated is, as far as I know, not possible under current technology levels. I say that he is one of the people who think that spreading rumours is
fun.

I attribute the lack of the pages he posted to a faulty memory. [edit: his memory, not computer memory
]
The 'symptoms' he said he described are not really beyond our technology - a computer virus infecting hardware is nonsensical, but playing sounds at random intervals and ejecting the CD tray ejecting at a predetermined event is relatively simple to do. Why anyone would write a virus to do something like that, though, is beyond me.
