Building a Bow user???

Well I've decided that I'm gonna do a bow user this time around, and wondering what works best. So far I've only put one point into Accuracy. I'd like to do a thief, but the tedium of sneaking around doesn't appeal to me. And besides I can just walk into someone's house and loot them while their backs are turned anyway. So any tips on building a bow user?

Well I've been playing for almost 2 hours now and here's what I've got so far:
Health - 1
Toughness - 1
Speed - 2(does it really make that big of a difference for melee or ranged combat?)
Accuracy - 3
Magic Power - 1
Lightning - 1
Multi Arrow - 1
I'd like this character to go through the game lightly armoured. Anyone have any tips on how to do that besides boost toughness? Some input on my progress would help.

the only spells u need : Multi Arrow, Slow Time

trust me Slow Time is GREAT for bow user's. it takes the hassle out of charging a shot

bowes are more needed than swords, you could go through the whole game with bowes but not swords

in my opinion, the assissin outfit is the best to use when going the archerer ways.. now speed is supposed to help but accuracy is definitely something you wanna have... I'd add guile as well so you can get closer to enemies and have a better shot without being attacked.

Add force push, physical shield, summon and enflame to your spells and you can forget about the rest.. that's good enough when you wanna be an archerer of heart as those are spells which will give you enough time to reload and charge your shot :)

The thing I'm worried about is the Hobbes killing contest at Orchard Farm. I think it's impossible to kill more than Whisper because I'm just too slow, and close combat and a bow don't mix. The rest of the game has been a cakewalk so far. Beheading people from afar is so much fun.

I found playing archer the best spell combo is using slowtime, enflame, physical shield. Add in Heal and mutliArrow for good measure.

For the Hobbe killing contest. Make sure you have Skorms Bow and Wellow's Pickhammer. The keep slow time up at all times. Then shoot fast and hard. If you see will close to several hobbes. Enflame them. If its maxed they die quick and you kill lots of them at a time. If you must switch back to your hand weapon and swing fast. Wellows Pickhammer is light and deadly. And if you really want to beat poor Whisper badly. Forget about using a bow here and just slow time and berserk and use a heavy weapon like Murrens Greathammer and cast Berserk with slowtime. Then the Hobbes die so fast that poor old Whisper can even keep up.

I've found force push to be critical in a bow user. Especially in places where you get overun, like the hobbes cave.

Just be careful you don't kill your escort with it.

Well I've decided I'm gonna forego the hobbes cave quest. It's the one part of the game that just pisses me off to no end. Well as to my progress I've just beaten the White Balverine and here's my stats:
Physique - 1
Health - 3
Toughness - 3
Speed - 4
Accuracy - 4
Guile - 4
Magic Power - 3
Lightning - 1
Force Push - 2
Slow Time - 2
Multi Arrow - 2
And as to equipment I'm wearing the Assassin's suit, and weilding the Ebony Longbow, and the Obsidian Katana. I think I'm gonna start making my sacrifices to Skorm soon.

Well a perfect experience farm is taking a liesurely walk from Lookout Point to Barrow Fields. My stats are now as follows:
Physique - 1
Health - 4
Toughness - 4
Speed - 4
Accuracy - 5
Guile - 4
Magic Power - 3
Lightning - 1
Force Push - 2
Slow Time - 3
Multi Arrow - 2
Now I plan on getting Skorms bow before I do the Arena, but how many followers do I have to sacrifice, and where do I get them?

SAVE b4 doing this so incase you dont get it..
the way i got it was to hire mercinaries . i hired good mercs first like from avo and oakvale between 12 am - 6am (try to get closest to 12am midnight) then if you dont get the bow from them 2 hire the other 2 mercinaries from bowerstone and twinblades camp and it should work... but dont get pst 6am or it might not work...
