Guys help my stuff is gone!!! eeek ahhghh

ok wierd story... maybe

i recently started a new game and i am doing the typical blades quests and stuff. like always, in the beginning of the game i kill Ravirr in Balmora and use his shop as a house. When finishing quests, i would put my valuable items in crates and chests. This included stuff like Lord's Mail, Glass weapons/armour, ebony weapons/armor, daedric weapons/armor, notes, special keys, etc. etc. But, one day when i returned home from doing a quest (i think it was the Zainab quest where u have to give the ashkahn a wife) all my stuff was gone !!!!!!!! Everything in the crates (except some keys and notes) was missing. completely gone. This didnt seem like a real problem at first because i have so much gold i didnt really need the valuables, but then i realized The Keening was missing. (i had taken it early from the wierd place before doing the quest). so, does anyone know what the hell happened to my stuff??? Did guards like take it and put in those "evidence chests"? can ppl rob ur house??? IS IT JUST ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE DAM MORROWIND GLITCHES? please help me. i'm screwed without the keening.

I would say that it is ''one of those damn morrowind glitches''

But perhaps samething happened wich will happen most of morrowinds crates wich inside is now in players bagback. So when times passes those crates will have some new items inside.

If you are on PC.. just use console to get that weapon back..

maybe you should lock your door.that happens to me sometimes.but it should bascally go into somthing called Overflow lootbag.thats what happens if you put too much stuff in your house.but the strnge thing is ,is when istarted a new game, my chosen house was the one with the cave rat problem(fighters guild mission).and i didnt get any loot bags!and my whole entire floor was filled up with weapons!

All I can say is I always lock the door behind me when I leave...There are more experienced people here who can help you retrieve your lost items, most notably Keening, using Console and such...stay tuned and the answers will be forth-coming!

a sinilar thing just happened to me. i did the bloodmoon quest and got a few glass items and that nice mace that korst gives ya, and i put it in the house they give to you also, but i put it in before they gave it to me. after it was renamed "bloodskaals house (or something like that) i went in and everything was gone including the mace

Its probably one of those infamous glitches, but you could make this fun, pretend the MW staff made the game even more realistically and now you could get robbed. Oh yea, once the entire city of Balmora disappeared on me, but it came back, so mabey your stuff will come back!
