Secrets of Telos Underground Base Guessed At :-)

Possibly a <spoiler>, but mostly for material that was, sadly, cut from the game...
Looking over the extensive selection of dialogue cut from the final game (there's a massive thread on the Obsidian forums; there's a link to the thread elsewhere on this forum) there's a segment of HK-47 torturing a captured HK-50 for information on where the factory producing them is; turns out the factory is on Telos. Remember the underground military base on Telos? The one with the "Military Base Sub-level" door that can't be opened? The one that has a totally undeveloped subplot about why the Czerka scavengers started disappearing in? Just down the hall there's an "HK Protocol Droid" that you can repair and have follow you, but that blows up after passing that door. Putting two and two together leads me to suspect that this base was originally supposed to be much later in the game, and was in fact the missing "droid world" where the HK-50 factory was hidden...
