Raising Magicka

Okay, I've been trying to raise all my attributes, and I've managed to get all of them to 100 except for Agility and Luck. My Intelligence attribute has been at 100 for about the past 5 level-ups I've had. However, my magicka level will not rise for some reason. Why doesn't magicka work like health and get raised every level-up? My magicka level is only at 100, while my health is like at 350+. How can I raise my magicka quantities without cheating. I'm on Xbox, so a console type-in won't work.

your magicka equals your intelligence level. if you have 100 intelligence then you have 100 magicka.
the only exception is if you are a race, or have a birthsign, that gives you a bonus to magicka.
a .5 multiplier bonus with 100 intelligence makes you have 150 magicka
a 1.0 multiplier bonus with 100 intelligence makes you have 200 magicka
a 3.0 multiplier bonus with 100 intelligence makes you have 400 magicka

You can also employ potions that temporarily increase either intelligence or magicka, or both. Some constant effect enchantments will do that, too.

Thanks guys. I'm an Imperial, so I don't have any natural magicka boosters. I guess I'm stuck using potions or CE items.....

Your sign might help. Several offer boosts, such as Apprentice, or Atronach.

I've done that before, so I might just cast one or two spells at a magnitude of 100-100 so my magicka will be 200 or 300. Thanks.
