Fellow Baldur's Gate fans, I'm a new poster on this board, although I have been reading it occaisionally, and was wondering whether there was an active link for the BGT mod, and by active I mean download speeds above 10 kB/s. Is there anyone who can post an url for it if it exist it would be really appreciated!

I'm not aware of any links to BGT which are consistently faster than about 10kb/s. I'm told the BlackWyrm server is being upgraded soon, which should make a difference.
For now, however, BG1Tutu may be of interest to you, since it's similar to BGT, but will do the job in a few hundred kb, and is actually possible to download. :) http://www.pocketplane.net/tutu/

But isn't TuTU just the BG 1 story in the BG 2 engine, but BGT combines all of the BG series?

Yeh, Tutu converts BG1 to BG2 with minimal story/gameplay changes, while BGT makes them a single game with a poorly-conceived transition and arbitrary story changes. If you're interested in playing everything through as one game, then BGT is indeed the only option (although I wouldn't get too excited about the claim of "continuity", which doesn't stand up to much scrutiny). Your best bet in that case is probably to wait a few days and see if either one of the mirrors improves, or the download size decreases, since both of those are apparently set to happen fairly soon.

I would agree with Sim that Tutu is the better choice.

And I will go as far as to say, "Amen, brother!"
