Who do you think was the best villain in the whole BG series?

Firkraag is my pick. Mainly because of the whole deception involved in the wuest. So, we went into his little dungeon, chopping up Orcs and Hobgoblins, Orogs, Golems, Wolfweres, and the occasional vampire, and though "This is way easy, this Firkraag guy has poor taste in minions." But then we get to the final part, and descend down into the cavern. The shroud lifts slowly, and what do I see? A Red Dragon with Attention Deficet Disorder. My response: "Oh @#%&!"

Its just got to be Sarevok; that menacing armour, the way he just cut down Gorion. The series took a real down turn with Irenicus. I guess one of his problems is that he appears in SoA too much, where-as Sarevok simply had increasingly powerful henchmen.

Drizzt isn't a villain, either in the games or in the books he features in.

Unlike Sellsword, I enjoyed seeing more of Irenicus as the game progressed, because the cutscenes helped build up my dislike for that old bastard (especially the ones in which he's experimenting on my poor little sis!). Sarevok being a mystery throughout most of the game created a different kind of suspense, but we just don't learn that much about him ... except by deduction, for those who remember the thread about his personality.
That being said, I like Sarevok, especially in ToB, but he's hardly an antagonist anymore, so maybe that doesn't count. Purely as a villain, I prefer Irenicus because I find it easier to hate him for the abovementioned reason. Yes, Sarevok is your brother (which makes the conflict more interesting IMO) and he killed Gorion, but then he vanishes from the spotlight for a very long time.
I also loved Sendai. Here's an enemy who shows you the appropriate respect for once, instead of pulling off yet
another case of suicidal "Haha, I'm sooo superior to you worthless maggot!" arrogance! And, again, I enjoyed the cutscenes that updated her on your progress, and you on her defensive tactics.
Bodhi and Melissan, OTOH, I cannot stand ... their voice acting doesn't help, either. To be exact, it grates on my nerves almost as much as I love Jonny's.

My protagonist!
If you're not allowed to vote for your protagonist, then I'd say Irenicus was the worst.

Saemon Havarien! That basterd escapes my clutches everytime, I want nothing then to dig my sword into his gut! I'm surprised nobody is as annoyed by his untrustworthy self, as I am...

Irenicus is indeed superbly voice-acted, perhaps more so than any other character in both games, but...
I'm going to have to standby my earlier point. As I think I've mentioned in another thread recently, quite a lot can be learned about Sarevok through his diary and through your conversations with Tamoko. More than that however, I just love the insidous nature and political slant of his trade-stranglehold plot; I love the way the noble women of Baldur's Gate frequently announce their intention of marrying him and I just love the way in which, after your return from Candlekeep, everything in Baldur's Gate seems to have got subtly worse...

Saemon Havarian is True Neutral.

Bodhi.
Before anyone starts, I don't get off on vampires (that whole craze is more than a little silly, IMO), and I don't think she's attractive--in fact, I've laughed at the series of threads devoted to BG2 "romance" programming.
What I like about Bodhi is the refinement of details, the way we see how the character's essential playfulness in life has become a malicious toying with her victim after death; her sense of fair play has warped into giving others an apparently honest chance to escape--until she attacks again. She oozes frank sincerity, even warmth, and she's clearly still attracted to the living; but it's all hollow, now, and it's very well done.

Nicely Put Fable, and yes I agree with you. Bodhi is a very well done villian, and yes the vampire thing is extremly old.
By the way, to all those nay-sayers. True-neutral can be a villianous alignment.

Personally I love the whole Vampire theme. Bohdi would be one hot babe if she wasnt an evil corpse who brought death wherever she went. I love how the Vampires refer to us lower humans as "cattle" too. We are so inferior
The best villain in the BG series? hmm...David Warner did the best voice as Irenicus, thats obvious, but my fav villain would be either Firkaag or the Fire Giant Bhaal spawn (cant remember the name). Giants are just really intimidating IMO.

Artemis Entreri, but rather from the books than the game serie, since you have to CLUA Console him in.

My favourite villain would be
Sarevok - he reminds me of the Kurgan from the first Highlander movie, yet he has his personal "touch".
Irenicus comes in 2nd, but he doesn't loose by much. How could you not love somebody you when have to see such an effort to kill him?
Bodhi was sort of cool, but I liked her better as employer than enemy.
The dragons and the Bhaal spawn in ToB - well, they were entertaining for the 2-3 houurs you had to fight your way through their lairs, but they can't hold a candle to either Sarevok or Irenicus, IMHO.

That would be Yaga-Shura

Sarevok, he kills your stepfather, looks down on you and you have to kill him so many times! THE WORST was Melissan, the only real motivation for killing her is because she has whats yours, she does very little to you except make you do her dirtywork
