Okay,so LaCroix wants me to go to the Hallowbrook and show the Sabbat who is the boss. I found from this Banshee walkthrough that I get in by jumping onto the construction platform down the side alley. Fair enoughski, except that the platform is dangling in the air at the top of the building way out of reach. How do I get it down? It is driving me mad!

Both times Ive playe it the window washing platform was already on the ground. I just flipped the power lever to go up on it. Maybe you haven't finished a required quest, or there is a bug in your game. Try reloading the game to before you got the quest and try it again.

Hallowbrook...

I have completed all quests listed on this sites walkthrough, reloaded the level, gone back a level, scream and shouted. The only strange thing is that Barabus is still inside the doors of the Fu Building in Chinatown even though I have completed the Barabus quest. That quest remain on the log, as does the Mitnick quest tha I have also finished. Frustrating!

to clarify

you have completed the previous quest (prof?) and the sabbat have attacked the tower (debris outside) (you may have popped back to see the doomed Heather who either gives you body armour or you send away)

you have completed the dialogue with lac and lac has sent you to waste the sabbat

you start at lacs, go right at the hospital and then walk down the road towards the chantry. you walk past the hospital and hallowbrook and turn right at the junction.

you walk along the road and turn right down an alley where there is a lift cradle at ground level. the cradle has a button to take you up the side of the building. on pressing the button, hallowbrook loads.

if all of those preconditions are met, I don't know the answer - but if the cradle is higher up - perhaps there is a button to call it down?

how about trying one of the cheats?....you could use noclip 0/1 and then position yourself on the lift and then use the noclip again to turn off the cheat, see if the lift will work then.
