does anyone know of an enchanting item that has an enchantment value more than that of an exquisit amulet or ring. They both have an enchantment value of 120. Is there anything with more? I'm on Xbox, so mod items will not work.

This is where I'm supposed to put in the obligatory comment about mods that provide much higher enchantment numbers, but since people expect it, I'll keep silent.

But some of those enchantment values are practically cheats. It are, in part, such things that give us mod users a tarnished reputation
Actually, I'm having much fun with my current character by going completely unenchanted

No question. I don't use 'em myself, but the terms of indenture demand that I make these facts known to all who touch upon such matters.

That's great! I'm using mods that cut down the high-end enchanted items in the game. For example, Goldbrand does only 10-15 points of fire damage, and a small amount of fatigue damage, as well. I think in the unmodded game it does 40-50 points of fire damage. Makes it more difficult to take on the monsters as you advance, but the challenge is greater, too.
