Cause for bond Exile -Kreia?

Does someone remember why the two share a common bond? As far as I remember there was no event like the one in KOTOR I which created the bond between Revan and Bastila.

SPOILERISH
Because you are almost instinctively forming bonds with others, and Kreia opened up herself so it was automatically formed? Because you rejected the force utterly (waaay back on Malachor V) and Kreia also suffered a similar fate before (powers stripped by Darth Sion and Nihilus)?
There are a lot of possible theories, and you can either hold the exile or Kreia responsible (or both of them). I think when you returned to the known galaxy (back from the Outer Rim) you subconsciously tried to feel the force through others (using them as conduits). When Kreia met you, she probably heard this call, realised you for who you truly were, and opened herself up for the force bond. It probably got out of proportion (by Kreia's standards) because she gave herself so willingly, resulting in an extremely strong bond that could probably kill one if the other was slain.

SPOILERISH
They don't seem to ever exactly say why or how the bond was formed. As best as I can figure, the bond is an extention of the notion that your character's specific gifts in the force relate to influence (hence, making force bonds very commonplace for you). Kreia's shared status with you as an exile, her deep desire to come to understand you, coupled with your instictive subconscious desire to reach out to others to feel the force again, and, finally, the shared danger that brought you to Peragus, seemed to all play a role in creating this bond. Moreover, I couldn't help shake the impression, as I went throughout the game, that Kreia actively had a role in crafting this bond. It's difficult to say, though.

Thanks for your replies!
They sound probable, even if I wished the game "designers" would have been so nice to give an explanation: it is an essential part of the story and all we can do is guessing (and there are already too much things in KOTOR II we have to guess...).
Let's hope there will be a content patch like someone from Obsidian hinted on their forum.

Well, I wouldn't expect that patch to fix much of the plot holes or problems with the story (you know, they'd have to write brand new dialouges and have voice overs for them all over again). Maybe an expansion (doubtful they'll release one) but a patch will probably address the technical issues and some balance problems (master fury giving no extra attack for example).

SPOILER
I have not very much hope, but maybe there are enough things in their archives to get some things in the game (like Atton-dying-scene which was excavated by some crack). But I fear, the mysterious door to the supposed HK 50-facility will stay closed forever

And an expansion does not seem probable as well, since Lucas Arts generally focuses on creating new titles as opposed to making expansion for existing ones (and thinking of KOTOR2, the game engine is pretty old, so I'm sure they would rather start on a new game rather than get together an expansion for this one).
All grudges aside, although George Lucas only had one idea (Star Wars universe) and Lucas Arts works on a single theme (OK, they have other games/titles, but the only universe they keep is SW), the company is probably one of the least "expansion making" companies (probably second after EA games). This is both good and bad, since the same urge seems to decrease their enthusiasm about "patches"
Anyway, a bit off topic there, but my two cents nonetheless

SPOILERISH TEXT BELOW
Yeah, at one point Kreia says she loves you. Though that is more like a motherly love, or the love of an artist towards the piece of art he just created. Because in her eyes, you are exactly that: a masterful piece of art. She reconnected you to the force, she trained you (whether you wanted to or not) and by pre-arranging all of your encounters (or rather, most of them) she had a part in what you are at the end (the confrontation at Malachor). She sees the death of the force (or the potential of it) when she looks at you, and for that she loves you. That is also why she says you give her the greatest joy when you kill her at the end.
I wasn't really surprised she said she loved me though, Kreia always seemed to have this possive motherly feeling towards the main character. Also, Sion mentions (after the encounter in the Sith Academy) that Kreia protects you and shields you, and that is why Sion wants to break you, so he can hurt Kreia.

She reminds me of Mother from Psycho, the original... not the POS they remade.
