No offence to you, but I don't really think that is much justification for saying that the XBox version is better. While cheats are there, its entirely up to you if you use them or not, so they don't really matter, especially when the game is fairly straightforward as it is.

PC has some nicer details and I think the control system is far and away above the XBox, never liked console gamepads.

The graphics are a LOT better on a high-end PC, but you have to spend a lot more money to make them look that good as compared to the X-Box.

I wonder how people even actually get to play games like KOTOR on X-Box. Sure, there are not that many in game controls, but on the PC I find 1,2,3,4, etc... very important (they perform the attack, offensive force, grenade, etc... respectively). Also, isn't it a drag to access the menus to save your game?

Kind-Sorta.It seems like a pattern though."Decide that it's time to go to bed,Push Start, pull the triggers to the tools menu,go to save game,Select new slot,Wait, turn off my XBOX,change my Audio/S-VIDEO/VIDEO SELECTER to my tevo then go to bed."LOL I HAVE NO LIFE!!! :(

Yeah thats my issue with it, the interface seems to be a little bit PC orientated (with the menus and such). Each to their own I suppose :)

I believe its post count that determines your "exalted member" status, not duration of membership.

As for X-Box vs. PC, I played the first one on PC, but played the second on X-Box (which I acquired chiefly because of the lack of a PCIX or AGP port on my computer, limiting my PC play). I missed the ease of the interface on PC (i.e. hot keys to pull up inventory, etc.). Likewise, PC graphics are somewhat superior due to the pixel capabilites of a PC screen. The X-Box has certain advantages, as well. Outside of guaranteed compatibility and more minimal bugs, I found swoop racing somewhat easier on the X-Box. Beyond those things, the two formats seem relatively comparable. So, I'd say they both have distinct advantages.

Exalted member is simply 50+ posts. Post count is unimportant at this board, but staying on topic is on the other hand rather important.

This is a no-brainer. The PC version is the way to play this game. I played KOTOR 1 on both systems and found the PC version so much superior I didnt even bother with KOTOR 2 on Xbox. The controls are just so much better on PC
xbox easily owns the pc version.
Why?
Posting a statement does not make it correct, unless the statement has some arguments which support it.

And by the way - no Xbox owns my PC, I own my PC not some console

Please try and be somewhat more constructive in this thread, lest it becomes some "Xbox iz teh r0x0r. N0 PC pwns" thread and then I will close it.

Xbox for most games unless you have a good computer.

When I play a game an entire day or weekend I prefer to sit in a comfortable chair or sofa in front of my TV instead of my computer.

There isn’t that big different on the graphics and the controls is more a question about if you like using a controller or a keyboard and mouse than the one thing being slightly easier or faster to use than the other.
So you shut chose accordingly to what system you like the most Xbox or pc.

The problem with X-Box vs. PC questions is simply the relativity of it. For instance, those with a very high end gaming computer are going to have infinitely less problems running various games than those of us with decent to very good computers. I've only recently aquired an X-Box, but I have to admit the "guaranteed compatabiliy" and not having to worry about numerous crashes, has been something I"ve really enjoyed.

My perpetual issue with PC gaming is that system requirements seem to get more and more ambitious with each new title. While I appreciate developers wanting to take advantage of the latest technology, it would be easier to reach a wider audience, if new games didn't always require some sort of PC upgrade for a large percentage of potential customers. It's very frustrating. But, again, that's a relative point as well. Those of you with the latest technology in your PC, probably enjoy your systems being pushed.

Likewise, console vs. PC placement is going to be an issue. Some people simply don't enjoy PC gaming because of the need to sit close, usually in a desk chair, etc.

Finally, the interface issue. While I must admit that I enjoy the "ease" of interface (the ability to create hotkeys, etc.) that a PC allows, its really not hard to get use to about any interface. I hardly even think about it, after a couple hours of play.

PC exclusive items?

What I want to know is if there are PC exclusive items or not, because I have beaten the Xbox version twice on light side and once on dark side... After 100+ hours of gameplay I have yet to see any of these items: Aleema Keto's Robe, Arca Jeth's Robe, Crado's Robe, Darth Malak's Armor, Jolee's Robe, Natth Cowling, Malak's Lightsaber, Nomi's Robe, Sylvar's Robe, Thon's Robe, Vao's Armband, and a few more I missed...

What do you guys think? Can anyone confirm if they have seen any of these items in the Xbox version? Does someone know if they are PC exclusive for a fact? It would be good to know...

x-box always good

I finished kotor 2 about a dozen times on the PC. And when playing the game for 23hours (my pers. record :D ) I encounterd 150 spoilers, okay I don;t care i just load my save's 'cause I save every 3 minutes but when playing an x-box your x-box stats are always the same. Your x-box wont run slower when for instance your anti-virus software is updating... as i'm saying the gameplay on a X-box would be better.

I'll put it like this: if you have a decent PC, that version is better (shorter load times, less lag) but if your PC isn't that good, the Xbox is better.
