Is there any way to skip from Taris to Dantooine? I have a Mac and can't get past the Ebon Hawk cut sequence before I get blown up. I've been trying for over three months, yet time always runs out before I can destroy all of the enemy ships.

No you can't just simply "skip the fight. But I suggest you start firing even before it goes to the screen, i've killed lots by doing that.
