In the character info it reads you are more easily accepted within Kindred society when you play a member of the Ventrue clan. What does that mean? I´ve played quite a lot of missions with a Malkavian before I started anew with a Venrue, and by now I´m in Chinatown and I didn´t recieve any special dialog options so far (at least I think so). What do you get from being Ventrue???

Their main advantage is that you can use Dominate in dialogue, quite a bit actually (comparable if not more often than a Malk can use Dementation). The trick is that you've got to be raising your dominate power. Some dialogue requires 2 ranks, some requires 3 ranks, etc. As for "easier acceptance" into Kindred society. There's not much that relates to that in this game. I think you get the Haven a bit earlier, and you get a couple dialogue easter eggs, but nothing really interesting (you pretty much do with every clan).

You also get one of the sharpest dressed vampires in the game- an expensive black suit and long leather coat when you get heavy leather; now doesn't that sound better than tracksuits and bondage gear?

I think its important to remember the RPG aspect of the game, so if you going to go ventrue, it prob is important to how you wan t to play it!

If you want to be the rock hard, ass kicking, bad mofo and want to be a rebel, it might be better to go brujah , hehe!
If you want to be a slick, sharp talking son of a ***** mebs ventrue is better!
This is what makes the game so cool , you even get to chose how it ends, providing you m ;) ake the right choices on the way!

Right, though any clan is going to be forced into substantial combat. Ventrue can certainly hold their own, though. With Fortitude and Presence at their disposal, they are probably the best defensive clan. Moreover, Dominate is a very useful discipline against non-bosses (and moderately useful against them). So, they are a fun clan to play, at least in my estimate.
