Right, lets be more serious, well actually Lego Star Wars even though this game was meant for children is a very entertaining game. For Adults as for Children. This game combines the Lego universe with the Star Wars universe obviously, and it does pretty good doing so.
You make your way through the three prequels of Star Wars playing 56 of your favorite characters issued from the films. You can play with those that you have met during the story mode and will be able to unlock new characters. Each have special abilities and certain have unique abilities.
Story Mode: This is quite basic, you go through t he three first films solving puzzles, fighting bosses and basicaly having fun through the missions ( there are 5 missions for every film plus the secret missions ). This is the first thing you do.
Free Mode: Now it gets interesting: you can do any mission you went through the game but with any character you unlocked. So you will be able to have a Yoda vs Darth Maul battle: very entertaining piece of work.
Multiplayer: this is how you should play it all troughout the game; it is a drop in/ drop out system where another playing can just join in during the game using the same keyboard or a controller. This will make it much easier as the A.I player will not just defend but attack (cos it won't be an AI character anymore).
Secrets: there will be verx cool secrets in the game like a hidden disco on Kamino and moustaches for every character. And you will be able to play a little version of Episode 4 if you play correctly.
Graphics: not superb because of the Lego Style, but it's simplicity is what makes it so nice and enjoyable.
Sound: the soundtrack is very good as it is based on the music of Star Wars Trilogy. The Lego Characters will not be able to speak and so mime things to make you catch what's going on. And this works perfectly, it is so amusing to watch those faces recreating the films with so much sincerety.
Gameplay: There are mostly four buttons: move, attack, special ability, jump, and a button to change character. This makes it an easy game to play and a very enjoyable time.
The story mode is probably quickly finished but then there are all the new places to discover and things to unlock so just have fun cos this game will replace your favorite games for a long time especially if you play with a multiplayer mode.

Game site is
here.
I have recently finished playing it on the PC and am working on my official review for GamerDad.
It is simply some of the most fun I've had recently with a game. Not the best, but most fun - everything about it just oozes love of LEGO and Star Wars ... the graphics are actually quite nice, and there is loads of fun and humor.
My kids (7 and 8.5) are working on it now. The 8.5 year old is a 'twitch' gamer like his dad
![Wink ;)](./images/smilies/)
, and has no problem with just about any game he tries. My younger son is not as 'gifted' a gamer, but he just *loves* this one.
I'm playing the GBA version now, which is almost entirely different, but still fun. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of any of this stuff.

I don't think I would call it a competitive site, so I'll point you to the review over at

demo
i played the demo and it was fun
download from gamedaily or gamefiles, maybe download.net
the cute little lego-men run around battling evil, 2 player
no combos, but you can jump+attack or back+attack, etc
the camera is fixed on map and character moves kinda like DC's jedi power battles (if you can remember that far back)
this makes it hard to see surroundings sometimes and the "left button" doesn't always move you left -on one part of the level left is back
i love how the force push/pull reorganize the legos they are manipulating ie a pile of legos can turn into a ladder
it will probably have better control on a console as pc had no mouse
there were times that i couldn't understand what they wanted me to do and since this game target kids, i felt like an idiot
it's not on my list of gotta have games, but
i will probably buy it if some extra change is found
