Clearing up some questions about influence...

One of the things i hear the most often in any forum about kotor2 is people who have questions about influence and their alignment...
"ok, i am playing darkside/lightside, and because i have an npc of the opposite alignment, even though I've done some things that the npc approves of (to gain influence), every time i have him/her in the party, and i do things according to my alignment, i lose influence with the npc...help me..."
for example, playing lightsider and using HK-47, Goto....
people, high NEGATIVE influence works just as well as high POSITIVE influence...
for example, when you get goto, by finding the right negative influence things to say to him, i found out his ENTIRE backstory with a high enough negative influence...(i was playing lightsider)
so if you play darksider, saying things that would deliberately cause a negative influence penalty with handmaiden, mira and atton consistantly should generate a high enough negative influence to turn them darkside, or into jedi...
now some npcs, like hk playing lightsider, its harder to use negative influence to get it to like you...kreia is particularly hard..those npcs, just bite the bullet, and i (playing lightsider) just did some naughty things on dantooine to get hk to like me...
just play your alignment, take the npcs that you want to increase with you on missions, and just be yourself...
and if you really are serious about converting npcs to jedi, or finding out goto's deep dark secret, or want the stats boost that finding out hk's backstory gives you, pop over to gamefaq and look at dsimpson's walkthru and influence guide.
