Jedi master set up?

i played threw the frist time as a jedi gaurdian/ weapons master and found the game to be far to simple with just hacking and slashing. so for the second time threw i wanna make a jedi master. I wanna go pure force power if possible and pretty much just use my Lightsaber for blaster bolt deflection and the added def dueling gives.

what feat/ force power combo do you sugest i realise i will be quite low on feats so i wanna make them count. any ideas will help. but to me the idea of battle meditation + inspire followers V + master valor which in combination adds 11 to hit and 11 to damage + 16 to will save and + 5 to all other saves is pretty damn sick not to mention all the goodies i can throw at the enimies while my jedi team destroys them such as stasi field/ force wave only place i may see trouble is malachore V.

Well, for Malachor simply take the force speed line, the force armor line (to go with force enlightenment) and spend some points in constitution. (to get a wisdom-boost implant) Take force storm and you're set. That's the only attack line you'll ever need, and with speed even you can make some decent hits.

i have a 14 jedi consular and man they die too easy!

and its annoying how u have to launch all the buffs to get them near the skill of a pimped out guardian.

I had no problems at Malachor V. I do admit not bothering with Force Powers with the end boss but just pumped up full of hyperstims, Verpine shield and Force Immunity. Then just watch the shield, cast force enlightment and Master flurry.

The one immediately after that just required spamming of Force Wave LOL. It is even simpler with the Jedi Master. I just used stasis field or force wave before force storm. Depending on the situation, partners were HK and Mira (to take down enemies before they can reach the party and they are VERY effective at that) or Visas and Handmaiden (if too close quarters encounters).

The point is NOT to waste your time buffing the Consular and hacking and slashing but to cast disabling and damaging powers. At level 14 consular, the only possible area effect powers you have are Force Lightning and Insanity. Wait until Level 15 to get Stasis Field and Force wave LOL. The fear line is a good investment for a lightsider as many enemies suffer from low will saves and it is cheap to cast even for a DS power (having a decent charisma makes it even more attractive).

It will work just fine without DS powers, I guess... they just make life easier. In that case, take a large bunch of powers: Destroy Droid, Stasis, Master Valor, Armor, Master Speed and Master Energy Resistance. Take two lightsabers and just mash everything up.

If you thought playing the game as a Guardian/Weapon Master was easy I don’t think you will like playing as a Consular/Master. Once you get force storm with good wisdom and charisma you will clear whole rooms with a few clicks of the storm power. Try playing as a Sentinel/Watchman or Assassin. Also try play through solo on hard difficulty .

With my L15 consular/L14-ish watchman, I used confusion/mind trick on one enemy and got the rest of the group fighting him, whilst I used force storm on the rest. This was on Malachor. The best things about these is the fact that you can use them against the final boss' lightsabres. Bonus!
