IWD 1 Cheats

hopefuly someone can help
i added the cheats=1 in the ini file and i press crtl+tab and when i try to enable the cheats or use them it says ''Nice Try Cheater'' can anyone help me how to make it work?

Not cheating,....say rather, ease of use.
I was having a problem with mine too, though it didn't say nice try cheater.
I pressed cntl+tab and no interface would come up at all.
I tried everything and nearly teared my hairs out. This game is unplayable without the teleport cheat, nevermind a replay.
Who wants to walk through two bloody cleared maps just so you can rest, or walk all the way back to Kuldhar through some maze map like Vale of Shadows.
Teleport, teleport teleport.
But I digress,,,,
The problem was, that there were 2 "cheat=1" lines underneath the [gameoptions] menu,...I took away the one I added, and just changed the 0 to a 1 on the original one.
Then it worked correctly.
Maybe this is your problem,...I don't know, try it though.

Does anyone know the code for the Ice Rose that Murdaugh wants? I suppose I can go back to Tiernon and have my bard talk to him, but I didn't get the option for him to make it for me the first time. Thanks.
Btw, I'm on the BGII forum at bioware as well.

I just got "Nice try cheater!" as well. Hmmmmm....
