Why Ebon Hawk and Kreia? (Spoiler)

Has anybody figured out why you were on Ebon Hawk (as opposed to some other freighter) and why Kreia was on it, at the start of the game? I finished the game today and had enough inluence with Kreia for her to tell me about her dark past but that's about it.

Well since you've finished you will most definitely realise that Kreia knew Revan, she was "his" first master (i'll just assume Revan was a he for now), and before exiling himself to the unknown regions he turned to his first master.

I don't know any more than that really, so I would assume that her and T3 would help Revan reach wherever he had to go beyond the Rim, and preserve the secret of his location unless others proved themselves worthy of following him to help him. Unfortunately upon returning they were immediately attacked by a Sith warship and the rest is obvious.

I think thats the most obvious, but you could come up with lots of different stories. Maybe the wreck of the Ebon Hawk was simply a plan for Kreia to find the exile. Either way, T3, and presumably Kreia, know where Revan is/was.

Then what do you get when you get to repair T3's memory and programming?

And what can HK 47 tell you about his previous master, Revan?

I don't think you ever find out what T3 has got buried in there, nothing of huge importance anyway.

And HK-47 just tells a few largely meaningless stories about his former master. Basically, they're both programmed not to tell you too much.

Spoiler:

T3 reveals a slightly different story if Revan was DS male:
Bastilla is ordering T3 to follow him and talks a little bit about Korriban.

My main question was, I guess, how thc heck did Ebon Hawk end up near you at such and such time... can't be a coincidence.

There are no coincidences in the Force, right?

Oh, and while I'm at it, just a thought in regards to the earlier speculation about Kreia assisting Revan in getting where he/she needed to go (which, by the way, seems the most logical explanation), the idea raises some questions about why she wanted to wipe out all force users.

Here's the thing; Revan apparently was surreptitiously trying to prepare the Republic for the coming onslaught from the True Sith, which is why he left a lot of key military/infrastructure installations in place, right? At least, if GoTo is to be believed. Anyway, Kreia then comes back, and starts wiping out both Jedi and Sith. Now, if you're trying to help Revan in his cause of protecting known space, wouldn't killing off all the force users be counter-productive? Or are the true Sith planning on somehow using the force-users powers against them (or something of that ilk).

What do you guys think? Was Kreia trying to help or harm Revan's cause?

Definitely not to harm. Since she admires Revan and his actions, she is unlikely to put his mission in jeopardy due to her "enmity" towards Revan. I think that Kreia's goal is independent of Revan. Id est, she hastes The Force, as she says. This is probably explained by her biography - one can go into all kinds of psychological anaylises here.
On the other hand, if elimination of The Force (whose true master is Isaac Newton, in case you forgot ;) ) "is" related to Revan's cause, then, perhaps, Kreia's plan is intended to remove influence of The Force from ALL meatbags; ergo, the so-called "true sith" would be at disadvantage, especially if their powers are almost exclusively force-related.

Partly. Like she said, you are a "dead spot" in the force, and have learned also to live without it. This makes you strong enough to help Revan.

I think people are taking Kreia/Traya's "death of the force" idea too literally. I don't think she wants to completely destroy it (kind of impossible really), she just admires your character because he is a dead spot.

EDIT: She says you are a place where the force "dies" - the force cannot really be destroyed, every Star Wars source on the net will tell you that it lives in all things. Nihilus would seek to destroy all life, but sounds pretty impossible if you ask me.

Stanolis, how high computer/repair skill are we talking about +25, +30, +35 or even higher?

My character said that he thinks there is another upgrade in T3 and as a result of performing thet upgrade he get +1 to Wisdom and some meditation power. Did I miss something or is there another upgrade?

No, it's the upgrade where you say 'I'm gonna operate on your behavior core again'. You need like 10 Computer Use or so.
