May contain some spoilers
If you complete the temple quest where you encounter Neb the child murder and kill Neb you get Neb's Nasty Cutter from him. I tried to sell it at the adventures mart and got nearly 2000000 gold for it. Now my game is slighty messed up because I can afford anything but I will have to live with that. Has anyone else encountered this bug? My Reputation was at Heroic(20) when I did this but I don't know if that effects anything.

When you were fighting Neb,did you possibly summon a Nishruu/Hakeashar?If you did, then you're experiencing the famous "warp around" bug. It's somewhat complex, but I'll try to explain it...that dagger is supposed to have a limited number of charges(10-15 I think),but if a Nishruu/Hakeashar hits the NPC who's wielding it,it automaticly drains charges, and if it lowers them to less than 0 the charges actually warp to 65565 !!! (or something similar),and so it can be sold for insane amounts of money. This works on some other items too,but IIRC it was somewhat corrected in the official BG2 patch just to be sure, you better visit Baldurdash and download Kevin's patch too.

Avernger2K is exactly correct. I didn't fix that one (wrapping charges), but I did fix Nishruus eating things with no charges, so you might want to install both in the order that was specified.
