I liked reading your review, thou I think mistaken for giving it a 7 for graphics.
You are reviewing a 6 year old game, at the time it was a very grapically advanced RPG.
The quake engine had never looked so good, there were actually colors other than gray, brown and green :)
The cutscences were considered very good they used a technique to strech and blend the textures which made the charaters seem more rounded which if I am not mistaken had not ever been done in a video game before.

I humbly suggest you reevaluate your score, as an example look at the Baldurs Gate review it has a 9 and there is no comparsion as Redemption looks much better.
If you did not play games 6 years ago then mabye try comparing Redemption to other 6 year old game you will find it was in the 85% to 90% range compared to other titles visually, 7 is extremely to low.

There is more to graphics score than simply the outward appearance. For instance, the Infinity engine received the score it did for BG2, considering the limitations imposed upon it, being both 2-dimensional, as well as isometric. While in Redemption, the engine was hardly fully utilized for what it was capable of doing, combined with clunky animations, and often, very static animations. In stills, yes it looked quite impressive for it's time. In motion, well, it had been done better in other games.

"graphics score than simply the outward appearance"

Sounds reasonable, yet you are still holding Redemption to a higher standard of results even thou it looks better graphiclly, even the animations, than others at the time.
Considering Nihilistic rebuilt the engine to be capable of doing a completly different gender than the engine was designed to do and created the best looking RPG of its time, seems extremely unfair.
Not to mention they did the Multiplayer funtional visually as well, with the same great look and style, which to date has not been toped, in a White Wolf style Vampire game.
It also means there was room to grow the engine more in sequals which Activison completly screwed up, just as they have for Bloodlines.

To me it seems like your saying, as an example that because Sith Lords was on the same engine it should get a higher score grapiclly than KotOR since it was using more grapic intensive because they pushed the older crapper engine harder instead of using an updated version with room to grow.

"hardly fully utilized for what it was capable of doing"

Possibly, yet can you ever think of another quake engine game made for that 3rd person/behind view or any RPG that looked better at the time?
Please if you can think of a single one let me know, as I would truly like to play it, since I am still a fan of Redemption as well.
