I finally finished this game and it took me forever. I finally get to the end and it stinks!!!!!!!! I mean the worst ending ever!! I had too many questions and you don't know squat! You just talk with Kreia and then she dies and you get a nice little clip of the hawk leaving. I was disappointed with this game. :( I mean 1st one was totally cool and you go from that to this. The characters were cool but what happened to the character sidequests? What about the HK droid place I thought I was going to go and beat so HK droids up but no! The best thing I thought in the game was seeing Bastila and Visas they are just so hot!! :D

KOTOR2 is a game with a much darker and depressing, almost gothic game setting which leaves a lot of questions unanswered. KOTOR1 was a cookie colored pretty much hyper game that finished its storyline and only left hints to how the story might continue in case Lucas Arts decides to produce a sequel.

What I am trying to say is, it all comes down to personal preference really. I personally liked KOTOR1 better too, nothing beats Bioware when it comes to telling stories and it's a shame they decided only to produce titles for the X-Box anymore. However, KOTOR2 is great and fun too, just in a different way. The worst thing you can do really is to compare it to its prequel even if that'd be a logical thing to do.

My $0.02. :D

what a coincidence, i beat the game today as well.

the ending didn't bother too much. i just wished it let you choose the ending, as in you go into exile again or whatever.

that last hk part is bugging me too.

i had also hoped revan and bastila were a bigger part in the story.

and for some reason, the disciple never joined my party.

but, all in all, i really enjoyed the game.

probably because you were a male. you get Handmaiden instead of Disciple as a male player.

I completely agree! I also think they left way too many loose ends.

The story... is like a human body. In KOTOR1 the went through the legs up to the head and chopped off the arms to allow them to make a sequel. In KOTOR2 the chopped of the entire upper body.

Seriously, I can't believe that you can finish ALL quests (that you can get) in one game

the desciple only joins if you are light side... well, for me he did, i think it also matters for female and male too... i only went through game twice ds male... ls female... and the game is easy.... have to play it on hard for any fear of death...
