I just love Jan!

Hehe Jan is so funny! I love his little tales about his family members...but the tale about Ano the lobatomized orc was the most humerous! I could just imagine Anomen's fuming face when Jan told the tale. It still makes me laugh!

I think the god that Jan mocked in that temple in the unseeing eye quest is gonna come after Jan in the expansion. Can you remember anything an NPC said that caused every other NPC to say something too that wasn't something relevant? Every NPC said that he shouldn't insult the gods like that, I think Jans gonna have a run in with an avatar or something.

No doubt about it, Jan is among the most sociable and memorable characters in BG2. We also know that underneath the gift for gab with a wry sense of humor lies an effective manipulator with a sharp awareness of people's flaws, a devout family man and a brooding character who tries to keep his personal life as secret as possible. I do hope that you get another chance to help him out against that abusive jerk who's gotten his tentacle into Jan's girlfriend wannabe.

Another obscure fact about Jan is that in actuallity, he's the head man of a massive underground smuggling ring, bringing in thousand of pounds of heroin and crack into Athkatla per day. He's also been known to be a slave trafficker, and occasionally dips into insurance and assassinations. He has a reputation for ruthlessness, does not tolerate any incompetence among his employees, and has been known to kill several rival drug lords in hideous fashions. In addition to all of these facets, he plays the meanest game of four-square I've ever seen. So, be cautious the next time that peppy little bugger pipes up, for the words he spouts may have a hidden agenda buried deep under the layers of cheer and jeer. You have no idea what you've gotten into. Game over man, game over!

Dunadan, you've spent too much time reading my posts. Or is that we've both spent too much time reading our posts?

Well you see, in this world, there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig.

Fallout 2. At Golgotha, while your running one of the quests for Salvatore, right?
It's a great quote.

Probably. I just pulled it off the top of my head, but I knew I'd heard it somewhere before.
