Shops?

That's a fair question and one that defies much explanation. I guess they just rationalized that a shop would cost more than a normal home. Likewise, they probably figured that they would be more desirable by players. I wish they had done something a bit cooler with shops, to where you actually had a hand in running them. As it stands, they really aren't worth aquiring.

You were supposed to buy shops then rented out to people, after that you can get good deals from them. Obviously... CUT!

I imagine shops are more expensive because you are also buying all the stock in the store.

Well, the truth is... you don't get all the stock from the shop, you get the building. This was the original plan anyhow, you weren't supposed to buy shop stock.
Plus civil? It was cut from the game. All truth no lies.

Has anyone tried keeping the shop? Maybe after you own it you aren't busted for trespassing after hours? It would make stealing items a helluva lot easier... Just a thought.

Right, but once it's purchased and under new management, what then? I'll try it out sometime today.
